Dr. Caton-Hospedales is originally from Trinidad and Tobago. She moved to New York as a teenager, where she attended Hunter College and earned her degree in Microbiology and Lab sciences before dental school at New York University. She eventually moved to Georgia and purchased Your Smile Dental Wellness Center.
When she is not taking care of patients, you will find Dr. Caton-Hospedales playing competitive tennis in both ALTA and USTA leagues. In addition, she is a member of Harps Crossing Baptist Church, where she enjoys signing in the choir.
Keith is our supportive and driven Office Administrator, and he's also Dr. Caton-Hospedales's son. Keith was born in New York, but he's called Georgia his home since he was ten years old. Keith began working at our practice in July of 2019, and he enjoys seeing the transformation of a patient's smile after treatment. As the Office Administrator, Keith greets and assists patients, as well as ensures our practice runs smoothly so each patient receives the exceptional dental care they deserve.
Originally from Fayetteville, GA, Amanda is the Lead Dental Assistant at Your Smile Dental Wellness Center. She earned her degree from Southern Crescent Technical College, and she began her career in dentistry in 2016. Amanda has been an invaluable member of our team since 2019, and her favorite part of working in the dental field is getting to know her patients and their families.
Earning degrees from Dental Auxiliary School in Jamaica and Penn Foster College, Merva is highly skilled in helping patients attain healthier, happier smiles. Originally from Jamaica, Merva moved to the McDonough area in 2018, and she has been a dental assistant at Your Smile Dental Wellness Center since 2020.
One of Merva's favorite aspects of being a dental assistant is seeing patients smile withsatisfaction after a procedure or treatment. For Merva, seeing a patient smile and experience the glow of great health is very rewarding as a dental assistant.
Hailing from Orange, New Jersey, Nikki is a skilled dental hygienist who has been part of our team since 2019. Nikki is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society, and she's very passionate about building rapport with her patients and customizing treatments based on their lifestyles.
Her interest in dentistry began early in life, with a clear goal of wanting to help those who lack access to dental care. Nikki's ambition is to participate in Doctors Without Borders to provide dental education and treatment to areas of the world where dental services are limited. She also enjoys helping her local community have the healthy, beautiful smiles they have always wanted.
Shelby believes a person's smile affects not only their overall health, but also the way a person feels about themselves. Shelbys main goal is for everyone to have the opportunity to have a healthy smile, and she's grateful and excited to play an important part in McDonoughs dental health community.
The staff was amazing! The receptionist was very friendly, patient, and thorough. She gave me proper direction to the facility, being that I was a new patient, and also took the time out to contact my insurance company to find out if I was eligible for the intended treatment. The dental hygienist was also very nurturing and understanding and made me feel extremely comfortable. Upon meeting Dr. Caton, I observed how very warm and welcoming she was. Everyone took the time out to address my concerns which made me feel quite comfortable.
