We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
I have been in the dental field for many years. My mom was a dental assistant and office manager for a periodontal office, where I was allowed to work during the summers as I was growing up. I obtained my RDA License/CDA License in 1986 and served as an instructor for Dental Professionals of CA, preparing dental assistants for their state written and clinical exam.
I joined Dr. Workmans office in 2015. She is an amazing woman and doctor. She is highly educated and up to date on new technology in every aspect of orthodontics. I continue to learn from her every day. She is a caring and loving person and truly believes in what she does and her staff. Our team is highly trained and willing to step up to help our patients and parents and each other. We are not just another dental office but a family with lasting relationships.
I have had the pleasure to meet and work for some very amazing people in California and Nevada, where I married and had a beautiful daughter. I have a dog and two cats. Family is a very important part of my life. I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, painting, and keeping busy.
I joined the front desk of Dr. Workmans office in 2017. From my position, I get to meet all of our patients and see how much joy their new smiles bring them once they have completed treatment. I also love coming to work to use my skills and talents, and in that way contribute to make our office run smoothly and productively. My team and I all share sincere love and caring for each other and our patients.
When I am not working, I spend most of my time with my husband, my two children, and our dog. I love cooking, reading, hiking, and traveling. I am also committed to serving at our local church in children and youth ministries.
I went to Brightwood College for the dental assisting program and got my diploma in 2015. While I was still in school, I started working as a sterilization tech part time to start learning prior to graduation. I learned a lot working there, from learning set-ups and taking impressions, to sterilization and how to clean and break down rooms. As I started to get to know more about the field, I realized that orthodontics was my passion! I love seeing patients in the beginning of treatment who are so unhappy with their teeth or smile, and being able to help them rebuild confidence towardthe end of treatment. Seeing the patients get their braces off and seeing them smile for the first time with their new teeth is very rewarding.
I like being outdoors, especially hiking and going to the beach. I could stay at the beach for hours! I am from Valley Center but I live in Escondido in an apartment with my sister and two dogs. I go to bible study Thursday nights after work and church Sunday mornings, and enjoy the gym in the evenings after work hours.
I graduated from Concorde Dental Assisting School in 1999. I have worked in both orthodontics and general and cosmetic dentistry, but find orthodontics to be the most rewarding. I enjoy getting to know patients on a personal level: witnessing their smile transformations as they progress through treatment. Dr. Workman is highly educated and uses the latest technology to improve peoples smiles. She is honest and ethical but also fun to work with. I feel like the whole team is a family.
My husband and my dog and I spend most weekends at the river in the summer. Im even learning to surf behind my boat! In the winter, we are usually doing home improvement projects on the weekends. I have tons of family nearby and we spend a lot of time together.
I became a registered dental assistant in 2012, and graduated from dental hygiene school to become a registered dental hygienist in 2017. Working with Dr. Workman has been the best experience I could have asked for. She is kind and compassionate, both with her patients and her team. I love watching her treat patients and seeing how her cases finish. Seeing patients so happy at the end of their treatment is the best part of my job!
Workman Orthodontics is unique in many ways. First, Dr. Workman is a product of the Poway School District. She became fascinated with the orthodontic profession early in high school because she saw how it positively affected patients and increased not only their smile, but also their confidence, and had a huge effect on their lives.
Dr. Workman has been an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists since 2007, which means she graduated from a highly selective orthodontic residency after dental school. She is on the leading edge of her profession, lectures on the local and national level, and uses the latest technology to provide the best care possible to her patients.
Dr. Workman is very involved with the community through her church, local gym, and the arts. She believes its a doctors job not only to treat herpatients, but also to provide a service to thecommunity.
It is our passion to treat our patients like family; this is what truly sets us apart. We believe every person is unique and therefore give personalized treatment to each patient. Dr. Workman uses the latest research and technology combined with expansive clinical experience to provide our patients with the best care possible.
