We are one block from the MUNI West Portal station surrounded by plenty of on-street parking. Our office boasts spacious, private treatment rooms and views overlooking West Portal Avenue and into our Sycamore tree from one story above street level.
Originally from Leesville, LA, Dr. Mathai earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed her general practice residency at Harvard University, training at Brigham and Womens and Massachusetts General Hospitals.
Dr. Mathai is a highly-experienced provider in implant dentistry, including teeth in a day all-on-6 full-mouth rehabilitation services. Dr. Mathai is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
Before her career in dentistry, Dr. Mathai was a freelance journalist, publishing with magazines such as Men's Fitness and Conde Nast Traveler. She still enjoys writing in her spare time, as well as cooking (and eating) with her husband in San Francisco.
