Dr. Watson graduated from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a degree in English Literature before pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. Though a native of Virginia, she loved her undergraduate years in eastern Tennessee and chose to return to the region to start her practice.
As a dental clinician dedicated to learning, Dr. Watson annually exceeds her requirements for continuing education. Restoring dental implants is a passion for Dr. Watson and she has completed multiple graduate level implant courses. She is an ASIRD (American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry Fellow, the highest membership status of this elite group.
Dr. Watson received the Tennessee Dental Associations Fellowship Award in May 2013. The highest honor the TDA bestows, this award recognizes dedication and outstanding service to the dental community. She has also published several articles for Penn Wells Dental Economics periodical.
Dr. Watson and her husband, Bob, have two children, Carrington and Joe, as well as Lilly, a standard poodle. Away from the office, Dr. Watson loves living in east Tennessee and taking advantage of everything the region has to offer. Her family loves rooting for the Tennessee Volunteers and King University Tornados and traveling together. In addition, Dr. Watson and her family enjoy doing mission work together at home and abroad, especially in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Taylor Jarrell first moved to East Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she majored in microbiology and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors in science. During her time in Knoxville, she was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. One of her favorite memories of college was opening the the T for the Tennessee Volunteers!
Dr. Jarrell moved to Memphis after college to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Jarrell was the recipient of the Kenneth L. Frame, DDS scholarship for excellence in restorative dentistry, the Gerald R. Karr, DDS Family Scholarship Award for academic excellence, and the University of Tennessee Alumni Association Andy Holt Scholarship for outstanding leadership and community service.
Because the field of dentistry is ever-changing, Dr. Jarrell annually receives more than twice the required continuing education requirements. Additionally, she has graduated from multiple 3i Biomets Graduate Implant courses.
Dr. Jarrell is thrilled to be back in East Tennessee with her husband, Zach, who is a physical therapist with Blount Memorial Hospital. Dr. Jarrell and her husband love to travel, spend time outdoors with their miniature dachshunds, attend church at Sevier Heights, and to do medical mission work.

All of our Registered Dental Assistants are licensed through the state of Tennessee to monitor nitrous oxide, place dental sealants, and perform coronal polishing. Our dental assistants are highly educated, well versed in our state-of-the-art technology, and continuously aware of the latest trends in dentistry by attending multiple continuing education classes throughout the year.
You will find that each of the dental assistants at Watson Family Dentistry is caring and compassionate, as well as quick to help you find comfort before, during, and after your treatment. April, Lea, Kelly and Murphy are all able to answer your questions with detail and understanding. They are all eager to assist you in any way!
Outside of the office, our assistants enjoy a wide variety of activities. April, enjoys baking, reading, gardening, and spending times with friends and family. Lea enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, baking and volunteering at her church. Kelly enjoys crafting, reading and spending time with her husband, son and family. Murphy finds her best relaxation is camping with her husband and family.

All of our hygienists at Watson Family Dentistry enjoy spending time with their families. Vicki and her husband also have two children as well as two grandchildren. Vicki loves to serve at church, cook, garden, and hike in her spare time. Hope is a mother of two and enjoys attending their sporting events, reading, hiking, and volunteering. Brooke enjoys spending time with her friends and family especially her daughter. She stays busy away from the office by traveling, shopping, taking photographs, and volunteering with local community service organizations.
In her personal time, Christine not only enjoys spending time with her husband and son, but also shopping, gardening, traveling, riding rollercoasters, and playing in water. Away from the office, Tiffany enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two children, scrapbooking, University of Tennessee football, and many other sports.
