Dr. Bryan Nakagawa was born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He attended Whitworth University and Oregon State University, majoring in Biology. After three years of undergraduate work, he was accepted to Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry and graduated with a DMD in 2001, with clinical honors.
Dr. Nakagawa has been practicing dentistry in Salem since November of 2001. He was an assistant clinical instructor in the Prosthodontic Department at OHSU from 2002 2005. Dr. Nakagawa is dedicated to expanding his knowledge of cutting edge clinical procedures through continuing education and participation in study clubs.
In 2010 he became a graduate of the Kois Center, a globally recognized dental education center, by completing over 250 hours of continuing education, and in 2011 he became a Mentor. As a Mentor, Dr. Nakagawa helps facilitate case presentations, answers questions and provides additional support to other dentists who are students of the Kois program. He has had the opportunity to network with dentists from all over the world, sharing knowledge regarding the latest advances in dental technology and procedures.
