Saba Khandani, DDS, is a licensed general dentist who wants to help her patients achieve their best oral health and feel good about their smiles. She is also a lifelong sculptor and painter. She views the mouth as work of art, in which all the parts need to fit well and function seamlessly.
At Washington Square Dentistry, Dr. Khandani offers all types of general dentistry care, including comprehensive dental exams and cosmetic, prosthetic, restorative, and periodontal dentistry. She loves the family and community aspect of working in general dentistry. She enjoys seeing patients, year after year and forming relationships with them as they grow and their lives change.
Dr. Khandani is committed to helping underserved communities. Before joining Washington Square Dentistry, Dr. Khandani did some work in laser dentistry. She collaborated with a dermatologist overseas to help treat cancer patients for intraoral issues that interfered with their ability to eat, drink, and complete cancer therapy. Dr. Khandani has also gone on several dental mission trips to provide free dental services in underserved communities in Fiji, Iran, and Peru. She volunteers at the Oakland Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Khandani is a Bay Area native. She completed her undergraduate degree in genetics at the University of California at Davis and received her dental degree from the University of the Pacific - Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Association.
When she's not at work, Dr. Khandani enjoys spending time with her amazing husband, hanging out with friends in the city and looking for great live music. She also enjoys traveling, staying fit and taking advantage of all the natural beauty the Bay Area has to offer.
As a child that had frequent visits with her dentist and orthodontist, Dr. Hsu believed that a beautiful, healthy smile can have a tremendous impact on a persons confidence and overall well-being. She learned first-hand that a thorough and kind dentist can make all the difference. Always a fan of the sciences in school, she realized that she wanted to help improve patients confidence and overall lives through dentistry. After graduating from Queens University in Canada with a degree in Biochemistry, she went on to earn her DMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with the goal of bringing that positivity to each and every one of her patients.
Now at Washington Square Park Dental in San Francisco, Dr. Hsu treats patients of all ages. She enjoys all kinds of dentistry work - ranging from providing restorations such as crowns and fillings to taking on cosmetic cases and finding creative and effective ways to improve each of her patients' unique smiles.

She and her husband particularly enjoy traveling they take trips both locally on weekends and internationally to experience what different cultures have to offer.
For Eve Lofthus, DDS, paying attention to the bigger picture of each patients overall health is key to excellent dental care. Following her dental school education, she continued to advance her training at the prestigious VA Medical Center in San Francisco. With extensive training in advanced surgical techniques and complicated cases, Dr. Lofthus is known by patients for her kindness, gentleness, and light-handedness in procedures. She has a unique eye for cosmetic cases and is known for striving for excellence. She also ensures that shes available for every patient post-procedure to meet any questions or concerns with thorough and prompt replies.
Dr. Lofthus has been practicing in San Francisco for 6 years. She finds the most gratifying part of her work is small oral improvements that make a patients life and oral health better. She prides herself with being personable and solving any patient concern.
With a background studying journalism, Dr. Lofthus places a focus on open and honest communication in her practice, building relationships and treating each patient as she would a friend or family member. After studying journalism and chemistry during her undergraduate education, Dr. Lofthus earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri, graduating with honors. She then completed residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in advanced dental cases, full-mouth reconstruction, implantology, and oral surgery. Dr. Lofthus and her colleagues are members of the Spear Study Club in San Francisco, a rigorous and prestigious nation-wide continuing education program.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Lofthus loves the weather, nature, people, and diversity of the Bay Area. In her free time, she plays violin in the San Francisco Community Orchestra and loves to cook Greek food with her husband for friends and family. Shes currently learning the Greek language.
