Dr. Christopher Price of Utah Facial & Oral Surgery is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. In addition to earning his dental degree and medical degree, Dr. Price has undergone intensive training in hospital-based surgery and anesthesia. This makes him the most qualified practitioner to solve complex problems related to the teeth, jaws, mouth, and face.
Our highly skilled surgical staff have completed and stay up to date with training in the administration of intravenous (IV) sedation and patient monitoring. Our front office staff continuously expand their knowledge of health and insurance policies, staying current with the latest changes and amendments to policy coverage.
He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his dental degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. He successfully completed an internship in general surgery and a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals program in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Price then accepted a Cosmetic Surgery fellowship, where he received additional training in facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Price performs all aspects of oral, maxillofacial, and facial plastic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Prices interests include reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws, placement of dental implants to replace teeth that have been removed, the removal of wisdom teeth, corrective jaw surgery, and surgical treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Price maintains staff privileges to perform these procedures at various hospitals.
