Dr. Tencza (AKA Dr.Lou) grew up in Northeastern, PA. He completed dental school at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery, and did his residency at the Washington DC Veterans' Administration Medical Center.
Dr. Lou has been practicing dentistry for over 26 years. He is a family and cosmetic dentist providing excellent dental care in Easton, PA and the surrounding communities. With his genuine kindness and a gentle hand, he has established long-lasting relationships with his patients. He believes in taking care of the 'person' first, then taking care of the 'patient'.
Dr. Lou continues his education by attending conferences and courses conducted by some of the country's leading dental experts, and belongs to various dental organizations, including the ADA, AACD, and the AGD to name a few.
Dr. Lou 's favorite part of dentistry is, in his words, 'The interaction between my patients and my dental team. I truly love my job.' On his free time he reads a lot, he likes to golf, bowl and travel, and spend time with his family and friends and his dog Ella.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from West Chester University, and completed dental school from Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry where he received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). He continues his educations by attending lectures and courses conducted by some of the leading dental experts in the country.
Dr. Pugliese chose to stay in the Lehigh Valley area because he wants to be part of and contribute to the community that he loves. He chose to work at Tencza Dental because he wanted to be part of a talented team that feels like a group of friends working together.
When asked why he went into dentistry, he explained...'Dentistry is a combination of science, engineering, and art. So I was drawn to it. I knew it 's what I wanted to do from a young age.' What does he like most about dentistry? 'Getting patients out of pain and improving their smiles.'
