Brett E. Amedro, DDS, completed his bachelors degree in biological science at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York. He then went on to earn his Masters of Physiology degree from the North Carolina State University and also worked as an instructor for pre-professional students. Following this, Dr. Amedro obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. While there, he was awarded for his excellence in dental implants. To further his training, Dr. Amedro completed a post-graduate residency program in general dentistry at the Veterans Hospital of Denver.
By completing a residency, Dr. Amedro has advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, complex crown and bridge, periodontal treatment, and root canal therapy. He believes his wide skill set is a benefit to his patients because they receive comprehensive care in his office and he has an appreciation for their overall oral health care needs.
Dr. Amedro incorporates the newest, most up-to-date dental technologies in his practice. He uses the most up-to-date digital x-ray system, places dental implants, and uses a diode laser to improve his restorative and crown and bridge work. Ultimately, he believes investing back into his practice with new technology allows him to deliver the highest quality dentistry to the people of Summit County. Dr. Amedro consistently attends continuing education seminars. Last year, he completed nearly twice as much educational hours than required from the Colorado Dental Association. His clinical interests include dental implant surgery, grafting techniques, root canal treatments, and conservative restorative dentistry.

Dr. Amedro is involved in organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Amedro is married to his wife, Laura. Laura is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Ebert Family Clinic in Frisco and Swan Mountain Womens Center in Farmers Corner. Together they hope to make a big difference in the health care of the families in Summit County. They have two children, a boy and a girl. They enjoy spending time with family, skiing, hiking, and exploring the Colorado mountains.
