She completed her degree in Biological Sciences with minors in Sociology and Chemistry at Louisiana State University. Dr. Day earned her DDS degree in New Orleans at LSU School of Dentistry where she was awarded membership to the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society and the Theta Kappa Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Day moved to New York City for three years to further her education in Dentistry. She completed a one year General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, New York, and a two-year Pediatric Dental Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Harlem, New York. In her final year of Pediatric Dental Residency, Dr. Day served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Day is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is active in the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association and Louisiana Dental Association. She stays up to date on the latest dental techniques through continuing education and as a member of the Capital Study Club.
Dr. Day has participated in several philanthropic duties including a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic, a Dental Head Start Program in the Bronx, and participates in the Mission of Mercy in Baton Rouge annually.
