Dr. Mena Botros, holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from New York University and Bachelors Degree of Dental Surgery (BDS) that was achieved in 2004 from Egypt. Wanting to help others in his profession for years he taught dental assistants the skills they would need to succeed, while at the same time continuing his education and graduating from his Alma Mater,New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Botros is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Northern Virginia Dental Association (NVDA), Valley Dental Club member, NYU Alumni Association.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Botros can be found volunteering at Mission of Mercy, Holiday food banks, and at Saint Marina Coptic Orthodox Church. He has also preformed much charitable dentistry with a focus on education, believing good oral health is learned and then practiced.
After practicing and serving the City of Winchester for few years he chose to open his own private practice in Town of Strasburg, Virginia, where he has embraced the community and is happily helping and serving the citizens of Strasburg and neighboring towns and cities.
Dr. Ghobryal always wanted to receive the best education and be the best that he could be in his career which made him want to graduate dentistry in the USA. He started his dental dream by getting his bachelors degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg. After that, he was accepted into West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013. He also was certified in laser dentistry and completed a mini-implant course there as well.
Megan, our wonderful Office Manager got her degree in Health Science, and has been working in dentistry for 16 years. She does everything from Billing and Treatment plans to having extensive insurance knowledge. She ensures that quality patient care guides all decision making. What Megan loves about working in SFD is that its located in a rural setting with a strong team that appreciates one another and strives to provide exceptional care to our patients. Outside of work she enjoys everything outdoors: such as hiking, camping, biking, wilderness survival, gardening, healthy eating, recipe making, and spending time with her loved ones.
Vivian, our awesome Insurance specialist, has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. She helps by verifying insurance and solving insurance claim issues. She cares so much about patients and being their advocate as well as helping patients with they insurance concerns. Vivian is a wonderful team player and always jumps in to help. She appreciates doctors and staff. She enjoys shopping, cooking and spending time with her family and friends and all Nicholas Sparks books.
Engy received her Bachelors degree in Aerospace. Most of her experience is in Aviation as a Flight Dispatcher, she also has years of customer service experience. She decided to leave California where she was working for a major Airline and followed her husband (Dr. Botros) to Strasburg to help build a more exceptional practice with him that provides an excellent working environment to staff and suburb service for patients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, one-year old baby girl and Doodle. She also enjoys swimming, reading, travelling and table tennis.
Dane grew up in Strasburg and has been practicing as a licensed hygienist since graduating from Lord Fairfax in 2018 with a degree from Virginia Western. What he loves about working at SFD is the opportunity to work on people in his own community and the great team we have that is so supportive of one another which makes each day a pleasant work experience. Inspiring part of his job is the feelings he get when he helps restore someones confidence by giving them nice clean healthy teeth and gums. When he is not working he enjoys kayaking, hiking and taking in the views of the Shenandoah Valley. He also like DIY projects and spending time with his little baby girl. His fav quote is the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.
Alyssa has been with SFD since 2012. What she enjoys most about SFD is the great team we have that makes her feel at home. The most inspirational part about her job is getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable. When she was 5 she was sure she was going to be a flight attendant. When she is not working she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and watching football.
