We are a dental practice devoted to treating your urgent dental needs. Started by Dr. Augustine Borgmeyer in 2018, we created the first true problem focused dental practice in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, STL Urgent Dental. In 2021, due to high demand and the need to increase our capacity to get patients in quickly. Dr. Borgmeyer opened up a second location in St. Charles, STC Urgent Dental.

We provide extensive emergency dental procedures including tooth extractions and use restorative dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
As your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing that we are a team of highly trained and skilled clinicians. We pride ourselves in providing the care you need to keep your smile healthy. To give you the best possible service and results, we are committed to continual education and learning. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.

Then we perform compression and thermal sensitivity tests to find out the extent of the issue. If we find that a cavity is what is causing you discomfort, we provide fillings fabricated from composite resin. This material restores the integrity of your tooth but does not detract from the appearance of your smile.
If x-rays are taken and it is found that a tooth has been compromised, we may inform you that you require root canal treatment. During this procedure, one of our dental professional removes the compromised pulp, sterilizes the root canals, fills the tooth with gutta-percha to protect the inner structures, and places a crown. The crowns offered by St. Louis Urgent Dental Group not only restore function and shield the natural tooth from further decay, but they also provide a uniform smile.
While our dentists do everything possible to preserve a patients natural smile, sometimes a tooth is past the point of saving. In these cases, we recommend extraction especially when it is found that the compromised tooth will negatively impact surrounding dental structures. Broken Teeth
