Dr. Ronald Bailey received his DMD degree from Tufts University, Boston in 1975 & is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Association (ADA), and Maine Dental Association (MDA). With over 40 years of serving Maine families, he specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry and has received advanced training in dental implants, Invisalign clear aligners, Cerec crowns, and endodontics.
Born and raised in the Bangor, Maine area, Dr. Bailey is an avid fan of outdoor recreational activities and also enjoys traveling with his wife, Gayle along with spending time with his 4 grandchildren. His three adult sons reside in Arizona where two are working in real estate & the third is a practicing oral surgeon. According the Dr. Bailey, the mission of Stillwater Dental Associates is to provide excellence in both dentistry and customer service in a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment.

I have been seeing Dr Bailey for over 30 years. I have had excellent results with all of the fillings and crowns that he has done, and still have all of my teeth in my 70s. He takes a conservative approach and only does work that is really needed.
Stillwater Dental is happy to welcome Dr. Kirston S. Barrett to their team of general dentists. Dr. Barrett attained her Bachelors Degree in Biology from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of New England. She is currently on the board of the Maine Dental Association, and has active memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Penobscot Valley Dental Society (PVDS). Dr. Barrett is experienced in all areas of restorative dentistry, including dentures, crown & bridge, and endodontics. She also has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry.
Having grown up in neighboring New Hampshire, Dr. Barrett enjoys outdoor activities, fitness, reading, and video games. She also enjoys spending time with her big dog, Bowen, (a St. Bernard/Poodle mix, known as a St. Berdoodle), and her boyfriend, Jake, who is a native of Brewer, Maine. With her commitment to dental excellence and her calming and gentle demeanor, she strives to help patients of all ages feel comfortable in her care.
Dr. Barrett was able to find the time to provide a much needed, last minute crown, before I headed to Florida for the winter. She did an excellent job, explaining every step. Her dental assistant was supportive & friendly. I even was able to watch the crown being made! A positive experience? Thank you Stillwater Dental.
Dr. Eron Aldridges practice has moved. We have been very privileged during these past two years to have been able to partner with Dr. Aldridge to provide oral & maxillofacial surgery services through our office. However, Dr. Aldridge is currently in the process of working with his team to transition into private practice, so will no longer be seeing patients at the Stillwater Dental location. As part of this transition process, his team will be contacting all of his current oral surgery patients and new referrals to assist with their transfer to his new practice location.
