Doctors David G. Carlton and Eric W. Baxmann share over 50 years of combined experience, actively pursue continuing their education in all branches of dentistry, and strive to build strong relationships with their patients.
An important factor in your overall dental health is taking good care of the supporting structures of the teeth, i.e. gums and bone. Regular prophylaxis (dental cleanings) can be scheduled with our highly trained and licensed dental hygienists. They assist Dr. Carlton and Dr. Baxmann with the same dedication in achieving and maintaining a strong healthy smile for their patients. With emphasis on preventive dental care, their main focus is to educate and screen for periodontal disease and oral cancers.
David G. Carlton, son of a naval officer, grew up all along the east coast. A majority of his youth was spent in Florida were his love for the water and to fish flourished. After graduating from dental school at the University of Tennessee, his love for the water, the weather and everything outdoors drew him back. He moved to Southwest Florida in 1990 and has been practicing dentistry here for 27 years. When he is not working he is enjoying life with his lovely wife and 7 beautiful children.
Dr. Baxmann has practiced dentistry in SouthWest Florida for 19 years, since moving here from Michigan. His practice is centered around restorative dentistry, which allows our more mature patient population to enjoy a better quality of life. When not at the office, Dr. Baxmann enjoys spending time with his wife Patti, and his four children.
