Dr. Kelly Hughes was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and has been in private practice in the Augusta and North Atlanta areas since 2005. She graduated with a bachelors degree from Georgia College and State University, and completed her dental and advanced pediatric dental training at the Medical College of Georgia (now known as Augusta University) in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Hughes is passionate about providing quality dental care to children and strives to provide a tailored experience for each patient. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and continues to further her education by attending courses and seminars pertaining to the field of pediatric dentistry. She maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and various other local dental societies.
Dr. Jennifer R. Bates is excited to practice dentistry in the same community she grew up in. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Microbiology (2009), she spent some time working in Charleston, SC. She then returned to Augusta to attend the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where she completed her dental and advanced pediatric dental training in 2021.
As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Bates pays special attention to each childs needs, treating them with the compassion and care that they deserve. She is looking forward to forming lasting relationships with her patients based on trust, kindness, and compassion. She wants every child to be excited about coming back for a visit!
