Southern Heights Dental Group was founded in 1974 with a vision of creating a dental practice where everyone, regardless of age, income, or insurance, could have access to quality dental care. That vision has grown Southern Heights Dental Group to be one of the largest privately-owned dental practices in Southern Minnesota, serving Faribault and the surrounding communities.
Today, our team includes eight dentists, each having areas of interest and expertise, including oral surgery, sleep dentistry, pediatric dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.In 2013, Southern Heights Dental began using dental therapists, or mid-level providers, offering even greater access to quality oral health care to more people. Our team also includes registered dental hygienists, licensed dental assistants, along with administrative support specialists. We also have access to a network of certified interpreters to assist with your language translation needs.
We serve both adults and children, and you can rely on Southern Heights Dental for routine and emergency treatments. Additionally, we offer oral surgery services and dental treatments to improve your quality of sleep. Our team of dental hygienists are your partner in establishing and maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile. Dental hygienists perform many important tasks, including basic teeth cleaning, performing x-rays, applying sealants, fluorides, or other substances for preventing tooth decay as well as educating patients on the importance of proper oral care.
