Dr. Jarrett Walden was raised in Soperton, GA. He attended Georgia Southern University where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2004 with a B.S. in Biology. He attended the Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 2008 with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Walden received the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award.

During his externship, Dr. Walden worked at a public health facility in Dublin, GA that donated dental services for indigent children. He began working with Dr. Hudson Powell the summer of 2008 and acquired the practice in 2012. Under Dr. Powells leadership, Dr. Walden learned what it meant to be a great dentist and to build relationships with each patient.

Dr. Walden has attended several continuing education courses to help him provide the most recent and effective care possible for his patients. He isa Board Member of the Hearts and Hands Clinic in Statesboro. Dr. Walden is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Bulloch and won the Statesboro Heralds Top 20 Under 40 in 2010. He is also a member of the Downtown Statesboro Rotary Club.

Dr. Strub grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, with a B.S. in Human Biology and Chemistry. He continued his education at the Medical College of Wisconsin, receiving a Master of Science in Epidemiology in 2009. Dr. Strub completed dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013.

Dr. Strub joined Southern Family Dental Group in September of 2015. He has previously worked as a general dentist, focusing on comprehensive dental care. Dr. Strub is an active member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Georgia Dental Association and the Southeastern District Dental Society. He also is involved incontinuing education within these organizations.

Dr. Strub enjoys cooking, playing the piano, backpacking, and scuba diving. He and his wife Shawna are travel enthusiasts and like finding themselves in new environments. He also enjoys giving back to the community and is involved in several charity programs. He was a contestant in Statesboro's Dancing with The Stars in 2017. Dr. Strub and Shawna have two children, daughter Emerson, and son Liam.

Upon graduating as Valedictorian from Metter High School, Dr. Mentzer attended the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Administration and a minor in Chemistry in 1991. She then attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and became a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1995. While in dental school, she received the Business Administration Award and the Senior Oral Medicine Patient Presentation Award.

After completing dental school, the Air Force moved her family to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, and she practiced for a year in a civilian dentistry. Dr. Mentzer returned to Georgia the following year and practiced in Valdosta from 1996 to 1998 with the late Dr. William Bill Broadfoot, DDS. Over the next 15 years, she continued moving with her family as the Air Force directed, including assignments in San Diego, CA, Washington, DC, and Anchorage, Alaska.

Dr. Mentzer has continued to improve her dental knowledge through continuing education courses from the Hinman Dental Meeting, the Texas Dental Association, and the Federal Services Dental Meeting in Anchorage, AK. She has also volunteered locally with the Hearts and Hands Clinic here in Statesboro.

Dr. Mentzer enjoys traveling, being outdoors, going to the lake, watching college football, and spending time with family and friends. She has three children: Savannah, Nick, and Maddie, and two dogs: Koda and Zora.

Dr. Thomas Marshall was born in Gainesville, Florida. He moved to Statesboro when he was only five years old.He remained in Statesboro and graduated from Statesboro High School in 2005.Tommyattended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Later, he was accepted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2013 as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Marshall holds licences in both Georgia and South Carolina and has been practicing dentistry for eight years now, with the last two years at a practice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
