Dr. Steve Wilkerson is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia in 1986. Dr. Wilkerson has completed numerous continuing education hours in cosmetic and preventive dentistry. Included in these hours are two continuums at LSU dental school, one continuum at Chicagos Center for Esthetic Dentistry, a series continuum at Nash Institute in Charlotte, Pankey, and Pete Dawson courses, and a Frank Spear continuums on Treatment Design with an emphasis on cosmetic smile lifts. Dr. Wilkerson has achieved his Masters of the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship (FAGD) and Mastership (MAGD) Awards are two of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Wilkerson enjoys activities with his wife Trina, and their four children and 6 grandchildren. He has served internationally as a dentist on humanitarian trips in areas such as Venezuela, Ukraine and Romania, and Haiti.
Dr. Chad Fussell is a 2003 graduate of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. When Nova admitted its charter class of dental students in August of 1997, it became the first new school of dental medicine to open in the United States in 24 years, therefore leading its students to learn the dentistry profession using the most advanced technology to date. While obtaining his degree in General Dentistry, Dr. Fussell has taken numerous continuing education courses in implant dentistry, as he regularly places and restores implants in our practice. Dr. Fussell continues to enrich his education by attending seminars on the most advanced dentistry.
Dr. Fussell serves his profession and his community by being an active member of the following: American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and by being an active member of GracePointe Church in Douglas.
Dr. Fussell joined the practice with Dr. Wilkerson in June 2003. Dr. Fussells goal is to educate and promote the oral health of his patients, giving the best quality care possible. He is fortunate to be a partner with Dr. Wilkerson and their highly talented and qualified staff.
Outside of the dental profession, Dr. Fussell serves the community in various charitable events benefiting less fortunate families. He and his family also have served on two mission trips to Haiti and continues to partner with Baptist for Haiti. He enjoys spending time with his family, as well as many outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing. Dr. Fussell resides in Douglas, GA with his wife, Amie, and their two children, Sydnie and Ben.
Dr. Jessi Grantham is a graduate of the University of Georgia. There she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then spent the next 4 years in Augusta, Ga where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia in May of 2020, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Grantham has taken multiple continuing education classes and plans to continue taking many more over the course of her career. During her time at The University of Georgia, she was a TA for her Biochemistry classes, readily assisting her professors in anything needed to keep their class going.
Dr. Grantham was honored as the University of Georgias President of the Pre-Dental Society. She has many other prestigious honors such as being a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at the Dental College of Georgia and also is a member of the Dental Hinman Society.
Previous to entering the dental field, Dr. Grantham traveled to Cusco, Pero on a mission trip where she assisted in dental treatment for local patients. During this trip, her love for the dental field started and grew. Immediately after, she began exploring her education in the dental field.
Dr. Grantham was born in Douglas, Ga where she spent her childhood and teen years. When not in the office, she likes to spend her free time with her husband, Chan Grantham, and their dog Odie. She likes to vacation at the beach with friends and family or simply relax at home and read a good book.
