Dr. Meredeth S. Gray was born in Madison, Indiana and grew up in Indianapolis. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1988, earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University Kelly School of Business, and worked as a financial analyst.
She then continued her education graduating with Honors from Indiana University School of Dentistry and was on the Dean's List all four years of dental school. She is a member of the League of Terre Haute, National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), the Indiana Dental Association, American Dental Association and Western Indiana Dental Society. Dr. Gray has also been a member of the Spina Bifida Association since 1995.
As part of the Smudde family, Dr. Gray comes from a long line of dentists. Her father, Dr. Carl Smudde, was a dentist in the same practice for over 30 years. There are also 4 other dentists and 3 hygienists in the family. Dr. Gray started as a young child in the Practice developing x-rays and assisting her father with patients in any way she could. She always enjoyed it and looked forward to coming to 'the office.'
Dr. Gray has been in Terre Haute full-time since 2010 and has been married for over 20 years with two children. Spending time with her family is one of her greatest enjoyments, along with cooking, entertaining, reading, gardening, and traveling. Dr. Gray is continually striving to improve her knowledge and skills in order to stay up to date with dentistry today and takes great pride in treating patients in a caring, professional and friendly manner.
Amy has been a Registered Dental Hygienist with our Practice since 1984. She has a wonderful rapport with her patients and really enjoys keeping up to date with their lives and their families. Amy takes great pride in doing whats best for and helping all patients. She has been a great asset to us and comes to work every day with a smile and cheerfulness that is refreshing! I really enjoy keeping busy, doing outdoor activities like biking, camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with our children and grandchildren. If you havent met Amy yet, you will know her soon by her eagerness and smile when you visit the office.
Theresa is one of our treasured Registered Dental Hygienists. I graduated from University of Southern Indiana in 2003 and studied at Indiana University and have over thirteen years of hygiene experience. I have a love to make my patients feel at ease and have a strong desire to deliver the best care to my patients! I have a positive attitude and outlook on all things and I bring with me a freshness and passion for providing oral health care and education to my patients. I enjoy spending precious time with my husband, our three daughters and young son. My future goals include traveling with Mike to the Holy Land and visiting other countries. I would also love to serve in other countries on mission trips to improve the quality of their oral health.
