Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez was raised in Spain and completed her undergraduate education in Miami, FL. She then received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University. During her undergraduate training, she was involved in the social working field as a certified crisis counselor where her primary focus was the psychological aspect behind dental patients fears. During her dental education, Dr. Gonzalez was a Student Ambassador and greatly involved in research. She received the Senior Student Award for outstanding leadership in Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health. Since graduation, she has been practicing dentistry in Maryland and Florida.
Dr. Gonzalez has a kind and gentle approach to dentistry allowing her to build trusting relationships with her patients. She highly believes in staying on the cutting edge of technology; therefore, she has continued her education with advanced trainings in laser dentistry, Cerec and mini implants among other areas. Dr. Gonzalez is also a certified provider of cosmetic and Facial Rejuvenation Procedures in the Dental Practice such as BOTOX. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Gonzalez has a passion for international travel and likes to provide dental care in impoverished areas of Guatemala as part of missionary trips.
