Dr. David Ashley DMD, MSDr. Ashley was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, just outside Niagara Falls, Canada. He grew up in Florida and Ontario. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada where he received his Bachelor of Science in Statistics. He then continued his education at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine
As a child, Dr. Ashley decided he wanted to be a dentist after several endearing encounters with his childhood dentist, who exemplified the prototypical characteristics of a caring dentist. Dr. Ashley instills these same traits in his patients every day. He makes it a top priority to make his patients more confident, giving them a smile they can be proud of.
Dr. Ashley belongs to multiple professional organizations including, The American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, The Florida West Coast Dental Association and The Sarasota Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Ashley has completed additional Implant continuing education.
Dr. Ashley is married to Sabrina, has 2 children, Isaac and Sophia, and a dog named Mickey. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his children, going to the beach and watching his childrens sporting events.
Dr. Strumpfs reputation and exemplary practice of dentistry in Sarasota for many years, expanded recently in the Boston area where he served as a dental mentor, consultant and practice rejuvenator for the past three years. He returns to our warmer climate with his wife Linda, while maintaining his northern residence for his family visits.
Dr. Strumpf helped pioneer the arrival of CAD/CAM dentistry to our region and has been very active in implant placement and select periodontal surgical procedures. He also is credited with Introducing Sarasota to Six Month Smiles orthodontics.
In addition to having been a dental consultant to ABCs 20/20, he is a native Floridian who served as a dentist in the Air Force Dental Corps. He completed his undergraduate degree at Emory University and D.D.S. degree at the University Of Maryland College Of Dentistry. He is also a lifetime member of the American Dental Association of Florida Dental Association.
