Dr. Bruce Sofferman has been helping his patients smile since 1982. He graduated Magna cum laude from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Sofferman received his dental medicine education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, ranked in the top 10 in the nation.
Dr. Sofferman is a Diplomate of theAmerican Academy of Orofacial Pain. As a clinical Professor in Oral Facial Pain, he also teaches at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Sofferman is a member of numerous professional organizations including theAmerican Academy of Sleep Medicine, theAmerican Academy of Craniofacial Pain, theAmerican Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, theAmerican Dental Association, theConnecticut State Dental Association and the Naugatuck Valley Dental Association.
Dr. Sofferman also contributes his time to multiple charities and fundraisers including Toys for Tots, the Women of Domestic Violence and Area Congregation Together/Spooner House Shelter Food Drive as well as the Oxford Little League.
He also enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering and assisting local charities, including the Women of Domestic Violence. Dr. Crocamo also coaches the Sprinters Swim Team at the Ansonia YMCA and is a supporter of the Oxford Little League. Outside of the office, he enjoys competing in triathlons.
