James H. Shambarger, DDS MS grew up in Texarkana,TX. He graduated from Texas High School then attended Ouachita Baptist University received a BS in Chemistry and a BA in Biology, graduating with honors.
He received his DDS from The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, TX in 2005. Dr. Shambarger graduated at the top of his class and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) national dental honor society.
He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, TX for his orthodontic residency. He graduated in 2007 with a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science degree. He returned to his hometown to open his private practice Shambarger Orthodontics in Texarkana.
