SCV Pediatric Dentistry was the first pediatric dental office in Santa Clarita Valley. Ownership has transitioned, and locations have changed, however the quality care that was brought from day one still exists today. We are proud to be known as the best Santa Clarita Pediatric Dentist (by all of our patients) and offer the highest quality of children's dental care and orthodontics in all of Los Angeles County. Dr. Justins educational path took him from Oregon, to New Mexico State University where he graduated as a Crimson Scholar. After college, he moved to South Florida for dental school where he attended Nova Southeastern University. After obtaining his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, he knew that he wanted to further his knowledge in the unique dental health needs of children.
Dr. Justin moved back to the west coast to further his skills in pediatric dental care at the University of Southern California. He completed his pediatric dental residency at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA), the number one children's hospital in California. While working for USC and CHLA, he specialized in the unique dental needs of infants, children, and adolescents.
While at USC, he also focused on vast studies of child psychology, growth and development, management of oral-facial trauma, and sedation, while making it a priority to volunteer and educate young aspiring dentists.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Justin moved to Valencia, California and began working under Dr. Dean's mentorship. Dr. Justin has been working in beautiful Valencia as of 2016, and looks forward to further becoming entrenched as a community member in such a friendly and welcoming area.
In 2018 Dr. Justin furthered his accreditation by becoming a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. As a Diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Justin strives to better his pediatric dental and medical knowledge daily with reading and advanced training.
Bruin through her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology and half USC Trojan with her degree as a Doctor in Dental Surgery. She graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious national dental honor society inviting only the top 12% of graduating dental students.
With a passion for further education, she completed an additional year long hospital residency at UCLA where she trained with anesthesiologists, oral surgeons, and her colleagues in the medical community for advanced training in treating patients with special needs. She also trained at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where she worked under the mentorship of Dr. Justin who saw her gift for working with children and encouraged her to specialize in pediatrics.
Dr. Kristine went on to Yale for an additional two years to become a specialist in pediatric dentistry. She is specialty trained in prevention, development, trauma, sedation, and the comprehensive dental treatment of children and adolescents.

After graduating from UCLA with a B.S. in physiologic sciences, Dr. Jason traveled north to dental school where he attended UC San Francisco, graduating with honors and being elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He completed his orthodontic residency at UCLA, where he was chief resident. His research project was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, the leading peer reviewed journal in the profession. He has also had 2 Case Reports published since graduation demonstrating treatment of unusual orthodontic conditions. Once a Bruin and always a Bruin, Dr. Jason currently leads treatment planning seminars at the UCLA Orthodontic Residency Program with Dr. Borenstein, and serves as a clinical instructor. He has also continued clinical research with the residents of UCLA.
Dr. Jason is past President of the San Fernando Valley Dental Society and he currently serves as an Orthodontic Peer Review member. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an Angle Society member. He has lectured extensively outside of UCLA including the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon and to the faculty and alumni of University of Marroquin in Guatemala.
Dr. Jason has 4 four children and with his wife, Janette, they love to travel and hike. Dr. Jason also enjoys surfing, skiing, photography and woodworking. He has participated in various volunteer dental organizations, traveling to Guatemala, Mexico and Israel.
