Dr. Richard L. Scarbrough was born and raised in West Memphis, Arkansas. His education has enabled him to provide only the best and most effective treatments for his patients. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Dental College in 1995. He has also completed a Fellowship in the Academy of General Practice Orthodontics as well as the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Scarbrough strives to stay ahead of technology and keep up-to-date on any new information available in order to continue to provide patients with the greatest level of care. He has recently been named an elite provider by 6 Months Smiles and is a member of the Arkansas Dental Association, Academy of General Practice Orthodontics and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Scarbrough is active in his local community, and is active in Marion Rotary Club, Marion Chamber of Commerce and the Marion United Methodist Church. He has served on the boards of Marion Youth Sports Association, the Mid-South Community College Foundation and the Crittenden Regional Hospital Foundation. He is also a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Marion United Methodist Church.
Dr. James T. Johnston earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society. He is on the board of directors of Delta Dental Plan of Arkansas. He has served on the Marion School Board and the Mid-South Community Foundation Board. He is active in the Marion Rotary Club and the Marion United Methodist Church.
Dr. Johnston established the practice in 1966. After many years in a solo practice, Dr. Johnston sold his practice to Dr. Scarbrough. He now works alongside Dr. Scarbrough three days a week. He is also involved in a dental transition company named Paragon. He enjoys his extra time helping other dentists buy and sell dental practices.
Dr. Cloyd is a retired professor from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. During his tenure at the College of Dentistry, he was Program Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program. He received the Certificate of Completion in Comprehensive Implant Dentistry from the Midwest Implant Institution and University of Tennessee in 1994 where he was also named an honorary fellow of the Institute in 1997.During his 20 years with the College of Dentistry, Dr. Cloyd trained dental students, post graduate residents, and dentist in private practice in implant dentistry. He has published many articles and presented numerous programs in implant dentistry. Dr. Cloyd is a member of the Academy of Implant Dentistry, Richard Doggett Dean & Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Cloyd lives in Marion, Arkansas with his wife Cindy and granddaughter, Lilly. He is a member of the United Methodist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas. His hobbies are gardening, golfing, and restoring his 1971 Volkswagen Karman Ghia.
Tammy is the Insurance and Billing Coordinator. Tammy is one of the first people you will see at Scarbrough Family Dentistry and can help you with any billing concerns you may have. She joined the Scarbrough Family Dentistry group in 2001. She married her husband, Jody, in June 1995. They have two children; Conner and Lauren, and they love spending time outside together.
Pamela is the Marketing Manager. Her responsibilities include advertising, managing social media, promoting staff activities and presenting education on all new products. Pamela is a member of Marion United Methodist Church. She married Dr. Scarbrough in 1995, and they have two sons. She spends her time outside the office chasing cleats and following her boys with their many loves of sports and school activities.
Natalie is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She started working for Scarbrough Family Dentistry in 1997. Natalie loves taking care of her patients and giving them the best dental care possible. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee for Medical Sciences in 1997. Natalie is a member of Marion Methodist Church. She is married to Jason and has three children; Sydney, Whit, and Grey.
Paige is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2001 after attending the University of Arkansas. She has a special interest in providing periodontal treatment and can answer any dental hygiene questions you may have. Paige loves following her niece and nephews many adventures. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, David and friends. Paige has a love for animals and is the proud mom of many four legged cuties!
Reaghan is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and joined the Scarbrough Family dentistry team in 2013. She loves interacting with patients and getting to know them and their families. Reaghan is married to Micah and has 2 dogs. She loves to spend her weekends spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Shannon is a valued member on the Scarbrough team. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and has over 25 years of orthodontic experience. While in her care, she strives to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. This is her top priority. Shannon graduated from Marion High School and is a member of West Memphis First Baptist Church. She married in 1990 to Nathan, has two sons, Josh and Cody and one daughter, Haley. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer joined the Scarbrough Family Dentistry team in 2008. Jennifer is a Registered Dental Assistant and loves to assist with any orthodontic needs and has over 20 years of experience. She has one son, Cooper and 2 four legged fur friends, Lexi and Lucy. She spends her weekends watching her son Cooper play baseball and spending time with family and friends.
Cana joined Scarbrough Family Dentistry in 2016. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and loves treating every patient as a family member and not an ordinary patient. When Cana is not working she is usually spending time with her family and friends. Cana and her husband Jason enjoy raising their four legged pup, Murphy. She serves as a member of Junior Auxiliary of Crittenden County and enjoys being involved in community activities.
