He enjoyed his childhood growing up in Lake Oswego, Oregon just south of the beautiful City of RosesPortland, Oregon. He met his sweetheart, Marshfield resident Julianne Baker, while attending Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.
After completing his training at UMKC, Dr. Rockwood was commissioned an officer in the United States Navy. He and Julianne then moved their growing family to Virginia Beach, Virginia where he completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Naval Air Station Norfolk. Dr. Rockwood then received orders to serve as a Dental Officer on board the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman.
Following his active duty service, Dr. Rockwood moved his family to Marshfield, Missouri in 2009 and has continued his military service in the Naval Reserves. He has spent the last 9 years serving our community while working at Jordan Valley Community Health Center as a General Dentist.
Melinda is a native to Marshfield and loves serving and working in our great community. She has 12+ years of experience managing the front office of multiple dental practices. She understands the intricacies of dental insurance policies and will assist everyone with maximizing their dental benefits. Melinda and her husband Earl have three grown children and one granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter, Kora.
Irene graduated from the Vatterott College dental assisting program in 2006. She has primarily worked in the public health sector with Dr. Rockwood and enjoys educating her patients on the importance of oral health. She also works with the Army National Guard Readiness program ensuring our citizen soldiers are dentally fit-for-duty. She enjoys spending time with her children Dylan, Logan and Miss Wyllow. She also loves taking care of her grandson, Bentley. She enjoys shopping, spending quality time with friends, and DIY projects at home.
Candice graduated from the Ozarks Technical Community College dental assisting program in 2013. She enjoys volunteering with the Missouri Mission of Mercy and has been assisting Dr. Rockwood since 2013. Candice is known for providing compassionate quality care. She considers helping others achieve a beautiful smile and teaching the importance of Oral Care the most important part of dental assisting. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jeremy, and loves spending time with their two wonderful children, Keaton and Brilynn. She also enjoys traveling, helping friends, cooking and reading.
Brooke completed her hygiene training at Missouri Southern State University in 2017. She enjoys volunteering with the Mission of Mercy and educating school aged kids. She loves spending time with her husband Damon and their children, Skylar, Spensar, and the twins Parker and Brock. She also enjoys attending sporting events for Coach Seiger along with all of the kids practices and games.
