Dr. Cruz provides expert care in periodontal therapy, periodontal plastic surgery, dental implant therapy, pre-prosthetic surgery, as well as bone and periodontal regeneration therapies. She has a collaborative treatment approach, listening to her patients needs and concerns, answering any questions and explaining all treatment options available before deciding on a final treatment plan together.
Dr. Cruz earned her bachelors degree in biology from the University of Central Florida, then continued on to receive a masters degree in biomedical science from Barry University in Miami. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Cruz completed a periodontology and oral implantology program at Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where she also received a second masters degree in oral biology. She stays up to date on the latest developments in dentistry as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
When shes not at the office, Dr. Cruz enjoys cooking, traveling, scuba diving, ceramics, painting, gardening and spending time with her husband and pets. She has also traveled abroad to serve on missions trips in Nicaragua and Jamaica.
