Dr. Robert S. Parminter attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Systematic Biology in 1987. He continued his education at Loma Linda University and acquired his second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology on June 11, 1992. During this time, while attending Loma Linda Dental School, he attained a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery, which he received on June 19, 1992.
Dr. Parminter is the head dentist and advisor to the Tri-Cities ROP here in Whittier. He and his staff have donated their time for the last several years, and he enjoys working with the staff and students of the school. Dr. Parminter is on the evaluation community for the ROP program and proctors the tests given to the students. His involvement in the Tri-Cities ROP has enriched this program, and has been instrumental in its success.
Dr. Parminter was involved in the Indian Princess program through the YMCA with his three daughters and has donated free dental care to under privileged families. He and his wife have been involved with their church Whittier Area Community, and help the families in need in their community.
Dr. Parminter has in the past been involved with Loma Linda University and Dental School during the Christmas Holiday, volunteering for the Christmas Program for under privileged children. He has been in charge of organizing and participating in day fishing trips for inner city children who have accomplished excellence in academics.
