Dr. Bob Randolphis a Solana Beach native, where growing up he spent time in his parents' Solana Beach dental office. Dr. Bob graduated from Torrey Pines High School and received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of the Pacific's dental school in San Francisco, where he graduated in the Top 15% of his class and was ranked #2 in clinical treatment. Dr. Bob graduated from dental school with Tau Kappa Omega Honors on the basis of ideals, scholarship, character, and class rank.
Upon graduation from UOP, Dr. Bob began practicing with his dad, Dr. George A. Randolph, in the practice George started in 1971 and with his mother, Diane Randolph, who worked in the office as a hygienist and office manager. Both George and Diane graduated from Northwestern Dental programs, where they first met. It was their cross-country road-trip that landed them in Solana Beach, where they set up shop and opened the doors of the Randolph dental practice.
Dr. Bob has been a San Diego Magazine 'Top Dentist' consecutively from 2009-2020! He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Association, and the Spear Education Dental Study Group.
Dr. Cantwell received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, where he met his wife Laurie. The new Cantwell family moved to Bozeman, Montana where Dr. Cantwell received his M.S. in Organic Chemistry, working on the synthesis of drugs to be used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Cantwell later graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree. Dr. Cantwell received many awards in school upon graduation, including the UNLV School of Dental Medicine Award for Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Cantwell has a passion for serving the oral health needs of people who are not fortunate enough to have dental care. He has repeatedly traveled to Haiti and the Philippines to volunteer his time performing oral surgery in those countries. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cantwell can be found outside enjoying San Diego riding bikes, surfing, and inside playing guitar, brewing beer (advanced chemistry), or cooking for his wife and son, Beric.
Dr. Kamdar received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Before dental school, she graduated Cum Laude from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with Honors, and a Minor in Biological Sciences.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Kamdar got married and moved to Nashville, where she completed a General Practice Residency. Her husband's training subsequently led them to the East Coast, where she worked for 4 years as an associate dentist in a bustling family-owned practice in Downtown Baltimore. As Silicon Valley natives, Dr. Kamdar longed to return to the west coast, finally moving to Los Angeles in 2013. While in LA, Dr. Kamdar joined the faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry, giving lectures on dental fundamentals to 1st and 2nd year students and supervised 4th year dental students during their general dentistry clinical rotations. Additionally, while in LA, Dr. Kamdar served as an associate dentist at an upscale Sherman Oaks Dental practice. In August of 2018, Dr. Kamdar and her family moved to sunny San Diego.
As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Kamdar has a deep commitment to learning and applying the latest evidence-based dental practices. As a strong patient advocate, Dr. Kamdar takes the time to both educate and comfort her patients, with the ultimate goal of fostering a positive, pleasant and memorable dental experience for everyone.
In her free time, Dr. Kamdar enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys travelling, the outdoors, exploring the local food scene, and catching up on the latest Bollywood movies and music. An avid runner, Dr. Kamdar has completed two marathons and hopes to complete more once her little ones are ready to join her!
Dr. George and Diane met at Northwestern Dental School. They found their way out to San Diego and together opened the Randolph Family Dental Practice in November of 1971. We cannot believe how quickly time has flown by since Dr. Georges retirement in 2005!
After her retirement from hygiene, Diane enjoyed spending time in the office, seeing patients and helping with office work. She loved spending time with their three granddaughters, Sydney, Piper, and Kelly. She will be missed dearly.
Christy has lived in North County San Diego for most of her life. She started her career in the dental field in 1993 as a Registered Dental Assistant and Oral Surgery Assistant and joined our team in 2014. Her experience with patients allows her to work really well in all aspects of our office. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She loves taking runs on the beach with her close friends.
Traci and her family moved to San Diego in 2011 and are thrilled to call North County their home! With a Bachelor's Degree from U.C. Davis and a Master's Degree from UCSF, Traci began her career as a physical therapist. She made the change from full time practitioner to Healthcare Administration in 2013 and was honored to join the Randolph Dental Team in 2016 to support the administrative side of the practice. When not working, Traci enjoys the outdoors as well as cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends. Traci and her husband Mark are most often found on the soccer or lacrosse sidelines cheering on their two children Liz and Ben.
Suzette is a Southern California native and has been in the dental field for 25 years. She enjoys working closely with people and all aspects of dentistry. Suzette likes to run, hike, and paint. She also has two grown married daughters and loves spending time with each of her five grandchildren.
Monica was born and raised in San Diego. In 2000, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara, then graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Cerritos College. She has had the pleasure of working with the Randolph family since 2004. She enjoys the challenges and independence of a Dental Hygiene career and loves the many friendships she has made with her patients. Monica lives in Carmel Valley with her husband Jon, and her kids Lucas, Marin, and Carter.
Elizabeth was raised in the central valley of California and has been practicing dental hygiene since 1996. She has called San Diego her home since 2000, where she and her husband are raising their twins. She is trained and licensed for both Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting with Extended Functions in Orthodontics. Elizabeth originally joined our team in 2004, working a few years before taking some time to help raise her twins. We welcomed her back to our practice in 2013. When not working, Elizabeth enjoys yoga, baking, skiing, and travelling with her family. Fun fact-she met her husband as a patient!
Shawna is a San Diego native and has been with the Randolph Dental team since February of 2009. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Southwestern College in San Diego in 2003. She really enjoys spending time at the soccer field on the weekends cheering on her daughter and her travel soccer team!
Jessica was born and raised in Southern California. She has been with the Randolph Dental team since January of 2013 and is trained as a Front Office Coordinator, Dental Assistant, and also as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Jessica really enjoys all aspects of the dental field. Outside of the office, Jessica loves to spend time with her family, travel, and attend sporting events with her husband and her son.
Michelle is a graduate of the Fresno City College Dental Hygiene program and has been practicing hygiene since 2010. She was raised in a military family and has lived all across the country and is proud to have called California her home since 2004. Michelle joined our team in 2016. Michelle enjoys keeping up with the latest advances in dental hygiene so she can make each and every dental visit an enjoyable one for all of her patients. When not working, Michelle enjoys relaxing at the beach, going on long hikes, vacationing with family and friends and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
Julie became a Dental Hygienist in San Diego in 1999 after earning a BS degree in Biology from SDSU. Julie also earned her Alternative Practice (RDHAP) license in 2012 and supports our community outside of the office with her mobile hygienist capabilities. Julie joined our team in 2016 and has provided care for our patients inside and outside of the office. When not at work, Julie enjoys time with her husband and three children.
Dee Dee is a North County native. She has lived in San Diego all her life and LOVES IT! She has been a Dental Assistant since 1981 and has worked with the Randolph family since 1986, over 33 years and counting! Dee Dee has enjoyed the office and the patients she has met throughout the years. She loves to travel and spend time with her family, especially her 3 grandchildren.
Alicia has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2003. Alicia joined our team in 2019 and she is happy to be part of such an amazing team here in Solana Beach. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves getting to know her patients. Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Outside of the office you can find Alicia running, hiking, and spending time at the beach.
Alicia grew up in the Pacific Northwest and made the transition to sunny San Diego in 2012. She feels blessed to experience all that the area has to offer and has enjoyed settling into North County. Alicia joined the Randolph Dental team in 2021 and enjoys all aspects of supporting the patients and team. She loves the opportunity to be part of a quality practice where she can contribute to bringing exceptional care to patients. Alicia also enjoys singing and playing a variety of instruments, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Kaitlyn was born in Los Angeles, but was raised here in San Diego. Just like Dr. Bob, Kaitlyn graduated from Torrey Pines High School, and she continues her education while working with us here in the office. Kaitlyn joined our practice in 2021 and she loves the atmosphere of the practice and all of the learning experiences it has to offer. She loves baseball (GO DODGERS!), the beach, and spending time with her friends and family.
