Born in Kenya, Africa, Dr. Patel moved to Tampa at the age of 11. After completing her early education here, she attended the University of Florida where she earned her degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. It was at this stage she realized the importance of oral health on systemic health. Dr. Patel furthered her knowledge by completing an intensive one year Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University before attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA for her doctorate. After graduating, Dr. Patel decided she wanted to move back to sunny Florida and has been practicing in Tampa ever since.
Dr. Patel stays up to date with the latest in dental research, technology, and materials. She strives to deliver painless and efficient treatment in a comforting, stress-free environment. She actively participates in continuing education to expand on her clinical expertise and knowledge. She is affiliated with the American Dental Association and its constituents and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Patel believes that your smile is your greatest asset. She realizes that each patient is unique and will take the time to listen to your needs to achieve your individual dental goals. Whether its time to undergo that smile makeover you have always wanted or simply fix that throbbing tooth, she has the clinical experience and expertise to produce a beautiful and healthy result.
When out of the office, you can find Dr. Patel dining all over the bay area as she considers herself to be a Foodie. To work off those calories, Dr. Patel enjoys running outside, doing barre, and traveling with her favorite travel partner, her husband.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Yami moved to Connecticut and lived there for most of her life. Yami joined Riverview Dentistry in June of 2021, however she has been in the dental field since 2011. When not in the office, she loves traveling with kids and dog, relaxing at home, and of course you will also catch her spending too much money online shopping!
Elsye is originally from Nicaragua and grew up in Miami, FL from the time she was 7 years old. She is happily married and her husband served in the Air Force for 21 years. She has two adult children and has lived in Riverview since 2012. Her family loves to go to concerts and she loves decorating. Elsye has worked in dentistry since 2017 and loves helping patients and being there for them to help navigate their oral health.
Originally from Chicago, Lexi has been with our team since September of 2019. She has been a Dental Assistant since 2015 and is working towards receiving her Dental Hygiene A.S Degree. Lexi loves working with patients and seeing them happy. In her free time outside of the office, she enjoys going out shopping, going to the gym, and traveling with her boyfriend.
Linda was born in Northeast Pennsylvania. She and her family always dreamed of living in tropical Florida, so in 2013 she moved to the Riverview area. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 15 years now. Linda is very active and enjoys going to the gym, rollerblading, biking and swimming with her two sons.
