Dr. Geivelis is a periodontal specialist, whose practice is limited to Periodontics and Dental Implants. He also performs procedures in children, releasing tongue-ties and lip-ties. Dr. Geivelis believes that the most important people in our practice are our patients. He strives to deliver the highest quality care, utilizing the most up-to-date techniques and equipment in the most comfortable and gentle manner possible.
Born in Athens, Greece, Dr. Geivelis received his dental and graduate training from Northwestern University. He has a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, a Masters of Science Degree, and a specialty certificate in Periodontics.
Dr. Geivelis regularly participates in continuing education and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. From 1993 to 2001, Dr. Geivelis was professor and director of Graduate Periodontics at Northwestern University Dental School, training the residents in Periodontics. He has been involved in academic research and has authored and co-authored several professional articles. Dr. Geivelis is the only Periodontist on staff at Central DuPage Hospital. Dr. Geivelis lectures about Periodontics nationally and internationally. He has been given several academic and clinical awards for his work as a scientist and a Periodontist.

Karen, our Asst. Manager and Dental Assistant is married and has five sons. She has an associate degree in child care and development. She taught preschool for seven years and then worked at Phillips Lighting in Accounts Receivable. When she started her family, she decided to stay at home. After the birth of her second son in 1992, she went back to work in dentistry part time. Karen has worked with Dr. Cichon since 1993. Her hobbies consist of: cooking, exercising, all outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
Kristi Cichonis the Chief Financial Officer. Her prior experience includes: Dental Assisting, Medical Records Tech (HIM), Xray file room technologist, a Nuclear Medicine Technology Degree and being a dental business owner. She attributes the success of the office to her excellent staff and some very long nights and serious hard work. She has worked with the same staff since 1993. Kristis hobbies include: Landscaping projects, computers and Music. She also co-manages a band in which she and Dr. Cichon participate for fun and for local charity benefits. She has three sons and a dachshund named Daisy.
Maureenis our full-time hygienist. She started in the dental field in 2003 and graduated from Harper College in Palatine. She has extensive experience working with both children and adult patients. In her spare time she enjoys, cooking, working out, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog.
Lindais our part-time Dental Hygienist. She started in the dental field in 1988 and graduated from Harper College in Palatine, IL. She has been working with Dr. Cichon since 2006. She is married and has two boys. Her hobbies include: cooking and golfing.
Karolina joined our team in 2014 as a part-time hygienist. She is a graduate of the College of DuPage Dental Hygiene program and Loyola University. Her love for dentistry began in high school when she became a dental assistant. She grew up in Chicago but loves living in the suburbs with her husband and two young children. together they enjoy playing games, reading, traveling, and bike riding.
