Dr. Ivan has been in practice for over 30 years, emphasizing cosmetic & rehabilitation dentistry in a multi-specialty group practice in Elmhurst, Illinois. Patients needing complex, comprehensive or multi-disciplinary rehabilitation dentistry or a cosmetic dentist's advanced skills & cosmetic experience would benefit from his training. With over 4000 hours of continuing education, Dr. Ivan is committed to life-long learning. He is a certified Toastmaster & professional speaker, has spoken publicly & professionally often & has written numerous articles for professional & lay journals & newspapers. He has also contributed on local radio & T.V. regarding a variety of clinical & practice management topics. He is a graduate of several practice management programs & has obtained education in business and training in marketing & communication.
Dr. Ivan was recently awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, was named one of DCA's Top 100 Doctors for 2019, & is now a Board Certified Diplomate for the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM). The ABDSM is the leading national organization for dentists who treat snoring & obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. Earning Diplomate status from the ABDSM is a unique honor that recognizes particular competency in dental sleep medicine.
While he has a passion for dentistry & often 'photoshoots' his 'Smile Makeover' patients, family comes first, & he enjoys celebrating his daughters ' many achievements after graduating from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is currently serving in his sixth year on Vanderbilt 's Parent & Teacher board. In his spare time, Dr. Ivan has recently discovered K1 racing & the incredibly challenging yet relaxing golf hobbyhe regularly shoots in the low to mid 80 's!

Kim has over 20 years of experience in both, spa and medical settings offering a wide range of skincare services. Kim is passionate about educating her patients and enjoys making them look and feel their best. I promise, you will not leave a session without fully understanding your daily skincare regimen.
Kim is a graduate from the New Age Spa Institute and is also a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP). Throughout the years, she has received numerous certifications in microdermabrasion, microneedling, dermaplaning, medical grade facials/chemical peels, and various laser treatments. Kim has extensive knowledge in skincare product lines and can help determine the best option for you. She will also point you in the right direction when choosing the appropriate treatment plan to exceed your personal goals.
One particular area of focus & research for Dr. Valcarenghi is sleep disorders. He has spoken to professionals & the public to understand the underlying physiology of sleep disorders, an area of growing incidence & sophistication of treatment for patients.
Dr. Valcarenghi obtained his master's degree in public health (MPH) from Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, researching pulmonary exercise physiology, nutrition & preventive medicine. The physiology of respiration is of particular interest as it relates to the upper airways in concert with the lower airways & how poor physiology of sleep results in system diseases, not to mention neurologic deficits and obesity, which often exacerbates the underlying sleep disorder.
As one of the North State Sleep Lab principles, he has a veritable wealth of experience in Sleep Disordered Breathing or SDB. We are delighted to add Dr. Valcarenghi's wealth of knowledge & expertise to Radiant as a consulting physician.
