Our office functions as a team. We are very proud of our training, skill and ability of our staff members. During your relationship with our office, you will come into contact with our team members. While each member of our team has individual responsibilities, we are all ready to do whatever might be necessary to help you at all times.
If you have an emergency, we are ready to see you any day if necessary. To minimize waiting, please call as early as possible in the day to advise us of your situation. If you are a patient of record and need attention after office hours, you can call the office number and either Dr. Shapiro or a periodontist colleague will answer your call.
Donna has returned to the office after a nearly 14 year hiatus as our office manager. Donna has been part of our team for 3 years. She combines her 23 years as a dedicated dental hygienist with her 13 years of accounting and finance to help guide and support our patients. Donna has outstanding interpersonal skills and wants to ensure that all patients have a positive experience. She is well versed in all insurance plans and will handle all of your financial payment arrangements.
Jackie has been a hygienist in our office for 15 years, continuing to care for our patients with dedication and compassion. She has been in the dental profession for over 35 years, first as a certified dental assistant and then dental administrator before continuing her education at CCRI, where she became certified as a dental hygienist, graduating in 1990. She enjoys her role as a caring hygienist and educator in oral health.
Tina graduated from Massasoit Community College dental assisting program in 2004. She has been a surgical assistant in the office for fifteen years. She knew upon graduating from school that she wanted to work in a periodontal office. Tina is very happy to be working with such passionate doctors as Dr. Shapiro and Dr. Crabtree who care about their patients, and enjoys the professional team of women colleagues. She enjoys interacting with the patients and comforting them during their surgical procedures. This is the only office she has worked in and would not trade it for the world. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Rose graduated from Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) Dental Assisting Program in 2014 and CCRI Dental Hygiene Program in 2020. She is passionate about dental hygiene and is always willing to lend a helping hand to all patients as well as the doctors and other staff members. Rose emigrated from Armenia in 2007 and is not only fluent in Armenian but also Russian. She is an incredible asset to the office and we hope you have the opportunity to see her for all of your dental hygiene needs.
