Dr. Christina Linn attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Dr. Linn enlisted as a dental technician in the US Navy, where her desire to do more for her patients led her to further her education in dentistry. She subsequently attended Arizona School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree.
After dental school, Dr. Linn was commissioned as a Naval Dental Officer and completed a one-year general practice residency at Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Here she worked closely with other highly trained dentists and specialists, which enabled her to become skilled in the entire scope of general dentistry, from cosmetic to trauma management.
Eric is a retired United States Air Force Dental Hygienist and has enjoyed a 30-year career in preventive dentistry. He graduated with top honors from St. Petersburg College in Florida and was later appointed the USAF Dental Hygienist Consultant by the Surgeon General for Dental Services.
Additionally, Eric has received numerous honors and awards. He is a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society, received the Colgate Student Total Achievement Award, and was elected to Who's Who in American Junior Colleges for Outstanding Merit.
Eric loves the autonomy of working with patients one-on-one and highlighting the relationship that dental health has on systemic health. Eric and his family spent over ten years living and traveling throughout Europe before their Colorado arrival in 2018.
Laura began her career in dentistry 20 years ago in Austin, TX, where she managed her first dental practice, both clinically and administratively. In 2017, she received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification in 2017 through the CU School of Dental Medicine.
A member of Platte Canyon Dental since early 2020, Laura is also CPR and AED certified. She enjoys connecting with patients and providing a calming environment where they feel comfortable receiving their dental care.
Laura grew up in El Paso, TX. She has two awesome children named Estela and Macario III. In their free time, the family enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, walking their dogs, cooking, gardening, and writing. Laura also thinks organizing is a fun activity, but her family not so much.
Ashley is a Denver, CO native and has been a part of the Platte Canyon Dental Care team since 2018. She received her dental assisting training at Concorde Career College, and as our office manager, she keeps our patients happy and our practice running smoothly.
I wasnt feeling good about the old practice that we were going to I just had some sneaky suspicions. The last time we went, they told my daughter she had four cavities and I wasnt feeling confident about that so I went to get a second opinion. I was turned onto this place with high recommendations.
Today was my first visit with her. I went in for my six month cleaning with Eric who is the dental hygienist and then Dr. Lynn came in to give me my exam. She was awesome, everyone there from Ashley who answers the phone, to Eric who cleaned my teeth, to Dr. Lynn who did my exams, everything was wonderful.
