Dr. Walker completed dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2001 and has since remained actively involved through her practice and continued education. Along with the Texas Smiles Foundation, Texas Dentists Who Care, and other high-achieving dental professionals, Dr. Walker has been commended for her dedication to excellence in the community and efforts in dental philanthropy.
Dr. Walker believes in improving her craft regardless of her level of experience. Despite her years of practice, she enrolls in extensive continuing education to advance her knowledge and skills to offer the latest and most advanced treatments available in general, restorative dentistry and implant restorations.
These efforts have allowed her to become the only Certified Hybridge provider in San Antonio and surrounding areas. In fact, she is the only dentist certified to offer this treatment anywhere from here to Dallas.
Most of all, Dr. Walker prides herself on the relationship she builds with her patients, her role in their dental education, and the sense of fulfillment shared by the entire dental team in restoring and maintaining a healthy, confident smile.
Dr. Walker is passionate about giving back to her community by educating patients and lending her time to facilitate dental services for those in need. It has always been a dream to help the less fortunate by giving back and paying it forward as much as she can.
Dr. Garza is currently an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Women Dentists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and San Antonio District Dental Society.
Family is vital to Dr. Garza, and she regularly video chats and plays online games to connect with them. She enjoys watching her TV shows, with some of her favorites including Hannibal, Ozark, and The Americans. She also loves The Little Mermaid and Alice and Wonderland. After dating for nine years, Dr. Garza and her husband had an Alice in Wonderland-themed wedding in June 2018!
