Dr. Ngai received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991,graduating valedictorian of his class with numerous awards. He then completed twoyears of Advanced Education in General Dentistry residencies, one at the University ofPennsylvania and one at the University of California, San Francisco. Although Dr. Ngaioriginally planned to continue in periodontics, he realized he would miss the variety thatgeneral dentistry has to offer.When Dr. Ngai is not busy with his practice and kids, he enjoys teaching highperformance driving at race tracks around Northern California. He also enjoysphotography- some of which you will get to see when you come to our office
Dr. Phipps received her DDS from the University of California, San Francisco, in 1994 with an award for her work in pediatric dentistry. She then completed a residency in general dentistry, also at the University of California, San Francisco.Because her family is such a high priority, Dr. Phipps limits her practicetime whileher youngest son is in school. In addition to spending time with her children, she enjoys hiking and skiing. Dr. Phipps does especially well with phobic patients, taking the time to accommodate their needs. She also does most of the oral surgery and the root canals for the practice.
Lisa has been with us for multiple years. She has an excellent working style, quick and efficient, while providing top-notch care and keeping her patients comfortable. Lisa keeps up with current dental research to add to her wealth of knowledge, from which she can answer all your questions.
Donna has been a registered Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. She has worked for Doctors Ngai and Phipps since 2006. She loves being a part of such a great team. On her days off she likes to go boating and fishing with her family. She loves to spend as much time as she can with her grand-kids
Tammy has been with us since we opened our practice in 1996. She has many yearsexperience working as a Registered Dental Assistant in the treatment areas in the back as well as in all aspects of the front office, making her very knowledgeable and able to discuss every aspect of your dental care with you and answer most questions that arise. You might say she is a jack (Jill) of all trades! Tammy was born and raised right here in Elk Grove and has two grown children, who were also raised here. Feel free to ask her anything.
