Dr. Lesa Allisons passion for dentistry sparked during her senior year in high school where she experimented with theblend of science and art. She truly enjoyed the ability to care for people while working with the technical and artistic aspects of dentistry.
She always wanted to become a kids dentist in the Greenwood area. Not only does she love establishing long lasting relationships with parents and their children, but she believeschildren have the best outlook on life. Children see every day as a new adventure with a curious and amazing imagination. That happiness and energy are what inspired her to openPark Pediatric Dentistry.
I am a native of Indiana, growing up in Noblesville. I have one brother, 2 half siblings, and my parents reside in suburbs of Indianapolis. I LOVE live music, concerts, traveling, all outdoor activities, cooking, spending time with family, and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and Hoosier Basketball.
Malala Yousafzai - As the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient, she persevered against all odds to achieve her dream. I believe she has a lesson to teach all of us young or old, male or female, any gender, any race that whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve.
My mother taught me the lesson of persistence. I appreciate this more today than I think she would ever realize. My mom always pushed us to pursue what we enjoyed, and if it was something we didn't enjoy, we had to finish it before walking away. This lesson shaped who I am today in a multitude of ways, even with opening Park Pediatric Dentistry.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, golfing, hiking, traveling, watching sports, and cheering on the IU Hoosiers and the Indianapolis Colts. My wife and I also love spending time with our dogs - Abu, Nala, and Snow - taking them to the lake to go swimming and kayaking with them.
My parents are my heroes. Theyre the most selfless, caring, and supportive parents. The sacrifices they made gave my siblings and me the opportunities to play sports, travel, and receive a good education. Theyre the best role models I could have asked for.
The best day of my life was November 3, 2018, when I married my beautiful wife, Katharine. I met Katharine when I was attending Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. We lived in Philadelphia, PA, for two years while I was completing my pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital. During those two years in Philly, we became engaged and got married and now were expecting our first child this fall!
