Oregon City Family Dentistry has been serving the Oregon City, West Linn, Gladstone, and surrounding communities for many years, and we have implemented the latest technology in our office. We use digital X-rays to diagnose cavities and examine jawbone density and intraoral cameras to take high-resolution images of a patients teeth and oral cavity. We have four dedicated and qualified doctors, Dr. Annalisa Smith, Dr. Kyle Smith, Dr. Rima Shaer, & Dr. Sara Westermeyer to handle your familys care, and you have a choice of who is best to oversee care for each family member.
Dr. Smith, known to his patients as Dr. Kyle, grew up in Astoria at the northern tip of the Oregon coast. He graduated from Oregon State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in business finance. He worked for Boeing Commercial Aircraft in Everett, WA, before starting dental school. He earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Oregon Health & Science University in 2009.
She obtained her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Oregon Health & Science University in 2009. Dr. Annalisa continued her dental education, attending a post-doctoral residency at UCLA. There, she learned additional advanced skills in implant dentistry, surgery, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Annalisa has a gentle and caring nature. She donates her time to Medical Teams International mobile dental van, Tooth Taxi Childrens Dental Van, Mission of Mercy and has been on a dental mission trip to India.
Dr. Westermeyer, known to her patients as Dr. Sara, grew up in the Portland, OR suburbs. She graduated with her Doctorate is Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University Dental School in 2003. Dr. Sara started her career in general dentistry in the Chicago suburbs with a focus on pediatrics. In 2006, she and her family moved back to the NW and she has continued her dental career in the Portland/Vancouver area. While Dr. Sara cares for the oral health of all ages, her love of dentistry continues to be with the younger ages. She starts seeing patients when they get their first tooth and hopes to create an environment that kids, and parents, enjoy learning about importance of brushing and flossing their teeth and complete oral health of baby and adult teeth
In addition to dentistry, Dr Sara is also a provider for dental aesthetic procedures, with certifications through the American Academy of Facial Esthetic. These services include Botulinum Toxin (Botox and Xeomin) services for orofacial pain, clenching, headaches, and facial aesthetics.
