Dr. Geraldine Ruiz was born in El Salvador and moved to beautiful Southern California when she was one-year-old. Raised in Orange County, she has always had an interest in working with children. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Physiology from California State University, Long Beach while working as a private academic tutor for children and volunteering at a non-profit childrens dental clinic. She continued her studies and received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. After obtaining her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Dr. Ruiz wanted to be better qualified to care for childrens teeth, so she completed an additional two-year residency program to become a pediatric dentist. She obtained her specialization in Advanced Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Southern California. Then, Dr. Ruiz became a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Ruiz is currently the Residency Director for the University of Southern California Advanced Pediatric Dental Program at Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, which aids her in being up to date with changes in the pediatric dental field. Dr. Ruiz has also held a position on the Board of Directors for the non-profit childrens dental clinic called Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County. She is also a faculty member and has been on the Board of Directors for the University of Southern California Advanced Pediatric Dental Program.

Another advantage of our dental office is that Dr. Ruiz is a child dentist with CHOC privileges in Orange County. This allows her to use the Childrens Hospital of Orange County for major Ga cases. She is currently a practicing CHOC pediatric dentist 3-4 times a month to treat these patients.

Dr. Ruiz is very involved with her professional community as a member of the California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been happily married for 6 years and has one son, named Caleb. He is the apple of her eye. She enjoys traveling, eating, listening to music, staying active, Pilates and going to church.

Dr. Aaron was born and raised in Southern California, and he decided to stay local by attending University of Southern California for his undergraduate studies. He always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, hoping to help and improve the lives of others. Dentistry provided the perfect balance of art, science, and patient care that he loves, leading him to pursue his doctorate in dental surgery at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Throughout dental school, Dr. Aaron noticed many of his patients neglected their oral health due to negative dental experiences as kids. It was easy to see the importance of creating a positive dental environment for people to develop a lifelong devotion to their oral health. He was inspired to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California and Childrens Hospital of Orange County.

Dr. Aaron strives to create an enjoyable and educational experience for the children and their families. Being able to build trust and relationships between his patients is one of the most rewarding aspects, and he hopes to make a difference in their lives. Thank you for entrusting your little ones under our care.

Additionally, Dr. Aaron is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as well as the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD). In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, watching movies, and spending time with his dog (Bella) and his fianc (Crystal).
