Igrew up in a small town in Wisconsin. After graduating High School I came to the twin cities for my undergraduate work and Dental School. I chose to interrupt my schooling for two years to serve as a missionary for my church in southern Britain. My schooling was later interrupted for a year to serve with the Army National Guard in Iraq.
While attending school in the Cities I met my wife Molly. We have been married for thirteen wonderful years. We have three daughters named Quinn, Georgia, and Kajsa and a son named Soren. We also have a really fat cat named Boo.
I love being a dentist. Every morning I am excited to come into work. I love helping people improve their quality of life and enjoy dentistry's emphasis on preventing disease. I feel it a great privilege to work with the fine staff at North Branch Dental and be a part of the local community.
I grew up in Maple Grove, Minnesota. After graduating high school, I attended the University of St. Thomas, where I majored in neuroscience and psychology. It was here, in organic chemistry lab that I met my beautiful wife and best friend, Kaija. One of the most amazing opportunities I had before graduating was spending time in the Philippines doing marine biology research and getting to know the culture. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Go Gophers!
I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful family. My wife and I have a daughter and two sons. We also have three fur children: 2 crazy dogs and 1 very mischievous cat. Im hoping to stay a 3 pet household for a while, but my wife, who is a veterinarian, seems to have other ideas. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, skiing, mountain biking, and any other sport that keeps me active. I wish I enjoyed home maintenance and remodeling more because I find myself doing this quite often. Our family loves to spend time together outdoors, and our favorite activities are hiking and camping.
I have always been drawn to dentistry and love what I do. Being a dentist gives me the privilege of working with my hands to improve patients smiles as well as their dental health. It also gives me the opportunity to truly get to know patients and their families. Developing these relationships is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. My wife, Kaija, who grew up on a hobby farm between Cambridge and North Branch, initially introduced me to the area. I feel lucky to be working in such a great community, with a fantastic dental team. Back to Team
