Dr. Wood was born and raised in Idaho. After graduating from high school, he learned Spanish while living in Southern California. His post-high school education consists of an Associate of Science (A.A.S.) from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the University of Oregon. In May 2006, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
Dr. Wood has had the privilege to work in rural Down East Maine for the first six years of his dental career. He gained his knowledge of implants and Invisalign while working on a small island off the coast of Maine. Dr. Wood also gained experience withpediatric sedation dentistry at Down East Community Hospital. He is passionate about bringing his skills and love of dentistry to the Magic Valley. He and his wife, Lynda, have four children. Their kids do a very good job at keeping both parents busy in their spare time.
Brooke graduated from Idaho State University with her bachelors degree in dental hygiene. She enjoys our small, friendly practice and loves seeing the variety of patients at New Horizon Dental, PLLC. We have enjoyed having her here for the past 12 years. When Brooke isnt working, she spends time with her three children.
Kelli was born and raised in Idaho and has been with our practice for over five years. She earned her bachelors degree in dental hygiene from Idaho State University and loves interacting with the patients who visit us. Kelli and her husband have two girls. When she isnt at the office, she enjoys camping, golfing, and hiking.
Debbie enjoys working hard and promoting dentistry. She earned her certificate for Dental Assisting at the Southern California Regional Occupation Center and has worked at our practice for over seven years. What she loves most about our dental office is that the team works together to make our patients feel at ease and glad they came in. Debbie enjoys the great outdoors, the arts, and gardening. She is married, has a son and a daughter, and has two grandchildren.
Erin moved here from the Seattle area to be closer to family. She has been working in the dental field for over 10 years and truly loves what she does. She enjoys interacting with patients and is here to help you understand your dental insurance and financial needs regarding your dental care. Erin and her husband have three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, drawing, and is a sports fanatic (Go Dodger! Go Hawks!).
Lynda was born in Vietnam and raised in Boise, ID. She worked as an dental assistant while completing her dental hygiene education at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2005. She loves the clinical aspects of dentistry as well as the administrative. She and her husband have four children. When she does have free time, she loves being outdoor with her family with no electronic devices and traveling to new places.
