Dr. Tushar Bulsara DMD grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and went on to earn a Doctor of Dental medicine from ECU School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bulsara stayed with ECU School of Dental Medicine and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Community Service Learning Center in Sylva, NC.
Dr. Bulsara joined the team at Murphy Dental Center to continue providing dental care for patients in the Western NC, North Georgia, and Eastern Tennessee communities. He looks forward to helping patients improve their dental health and quality of life. Dr. Bulsara enjoys hiking trails, playing instruments, producing music, and eating at new restaurants. We are happy and excited to welcome him to join Dr. Watson and the team at Murphy Dental Center.
Dr. Watson graduated from Michigan State University with a BS degree in zoology and then received his dental degree from the University of Michigan. He has over 40 years experience as a practicing dentist.
Dr Watson is a life member of the American Dental association, the North Carolina Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an emeritus member of the Academy of General Dentistry, academy member of CEREC Doctors,the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry, Doctors Organization for Conscious Sedation, and a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International.
Dr. Watson is also an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute and former visiting faculty. He is also a graduate of the PAC Live Cosmetic Experience and is a Charter and Lifetime Qualified member of the Crown Council.
Dr. Watson and wife Paula have 3 children: daughter Emily of Farmville NC, Lauren and husband Skyler Hubbard of Asheville and new granddaughter Elizabeth 'Hollis', and son Matthew of Cullowhee NC. And of course, grandson 'Will'.

Becky earned her Certified Dental Assisting license in 1990. She has been a dental assistant since 1974, and 35 years of that has been with Dr. Watson. She has worked in the front office for 12 years. Becky retired in 2015 and stayed home for 1 year, and then came back to her work family.
Becky and her husband, Jack live in the Martins Creek Community. They have 2 children Laura and Daniel and 6 grandchildren: Cole (14), Addison (12), Cooper (11), Payton (10) and twins Mason and Megon (8).
Laura has been working with the team for 23 years. For 17 years she worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist, and then moved into the Office Manager position. Laura is a native of Murphy. She attended grammar and high school here in Murphy and then went to Asheville-Buncombe Technical College and received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.
After graduating she started working for Dr. Watson and has been here ever since. Laura, also babysat for Dr. Watson's kids when they were younger and has been a patient of Dr. Watson's since she was 5 years old. Laura's mom, Becky, has worked for Dr. Watson for over 30 years. So as you can see we are family here at Murphy Dental Center.
Laura is married to Mark Elliott, co owner of Elliott Brothers Mechanical, and has two sons; Cole age 14 and Cooper age 11. They reside in the Ranger Community. In her off time, Laura spends her time at ball fields and ball courts with her children who play baseball and basketball.
Traci has been a dental hygienist at Murphy Dental Center for 30 years. She started as a patient of Dr. Watson's when she moved to Cherokee county at the age of 11, and lucky enough to know what her career path would be at the age of 14. Traci graduated Asheville Buncombe technical college as a dental assistant in 1990 and as a dental hygienist in 1992.She has thoroughly enjoyed working on generations of families over the years to achieve optimum oral health. Traci learned long ago that your mouth is the window for overall health and will help you achieve and maintain your healthy smile. You will find that she is compassionate and able to put her patients at ease to ensure a positive dental experience.In her off time, she loves spending time with her very active kids Rachel and Tucker, traveling, snow skiing, boating, home improvement projects, and going to the beach.
Away from work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family. Her and husband Eric, live outside of Murphy in the Unaka Community. They have two daughters, Sarah and Kimberly. As a family, they enjoy camping and being outdoors.
