In 2019, Meier Orthodontics became Meier & Benitez Orthodontics by adding to our talent, Dr. Christian Benitez! A little fun factthe professional relationship between Dr. Benitez and Dr. Meier started 10 years earlier in 2009 when Dr. Benitez walked into Meier Orthodontics looking for a job for the 12 months between his undergraduate and dental school training. Fast forward through the next 10 years of Dr. Bs dental education and work experienceto January 2019 when Dr. Benitez joins forces with Dr. Meier to create MEIER & BENITEZ ORTHODONTICS!

Dental insurance plans may offer an orthodontic benefit, which help help cover the cost of orthodontic treatment. This orthodontic treatment includes metal braces, clear braces, and even Invisalign. Please be aware not all dental insurance plans are the same. Some standard dental insurance plans may not cover orthodontic treatment. In order to be sure, you may contact your insurance provider to determine your orthodontic coverage.
Dr. Christian Benitez is committed to providing excellent multidisciplinary care. Dr. Benitez received his undergraduate degree at Nova Southeastern University, where he was a proud member of the NSU mens soccer team. He then attended the distinguished Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. In an effort to provide exceptional care, he completed a General Dentistry Residency at Boston University. Following his General Dentistry Residency, Dr. Benitez completed a two year Orthodontic specialty program at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He was selected chief resident and was a member of the Craniofacial team, where he received extensive training in Cleft lip and Palate, Craniofacial disorders, Orthognathic Surgery, and providing care to children with special health care needs.
