Dr. McCool is a native of Tennessee. He and his wife, Angie were high school sweethearts and have been married over 38 years. They have two children and 1 grand child. One live in Statesboro, GA and the other lives in the Charlotte, N.C. area.

Wendy has been in the dental field for over 40 years working as a dental assistant and then in administration. Wendy is married and has two grown daughters and four grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, swimming and spending time with her family.
