Dr. Christine Liesen completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Marquette University before attending the Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1987. She regularly completes continuing education courses, and she has received advanced training in CEREC, removable partials and dentures, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, sleep medicine and dental oral sedation. She has practiced dentistry for over 34 years in Wisconsin, 22 of which have been in the Park Falls and Woodruff areas of northern Wisconsin.
Additionally, she is a member of several local dental societies and has served on state dental association committees. Dr. Liesen has also received several awards and certifications, including Local Business Leaders, Local Chamber Business of the Year, Dental Community Volunteer Leadership Recognition, the Donald Dental Service Award for Undergraduates and the Veterans Overseas Dental Mission Service certificate.
Dr. Liesen enjoys her profession and is passionate about dentistry. She is privileged to work with a fabulous team, and she is dedicated to giving people beautiful smiles and to helping her patients and her community attain good oral health practices. Dr. Liesen enjoys working with her husband and daughter in their dental practice each day.
Monica joined our team in 2021 with a background in business management, pharmacy, and medical and dental insurance. She loves helping people and is compassionate when helping our patients understand their dental health and insurance benefits. Monica enjoys being part of a caring family practice that is empathetic towards patients and which focuses on education.
Monica married her childhood sweetheart and has two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as camping, boating and fishing, and she can often be found tending to her small flock of chickens or coaching figure skating.
Katie joined our practice in September 2021. She has a medical background as a phlebotomist, veterinary assistant and medical assistant, and she is excited to work in a dental office. Katie is a people person and enjoys being part of a family practice where she can interact with our patients as well as work with the doctors.
Jackie attended the Fox Valley Technical College dental hygiene program. She began her career as a dental assistant and continued her education in dental hygiene, joining our team in 2020. She enjoys making our patients feel comfortable in our office and happy to receive their care, and she appreciates being part of a great team that works hard to provide quality patient care as well as total patient care.
Olivia graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2015. She is laser certified as well as certified to administer local anesthesia and in 2016 participated in a service trip to Belize, where she provided dental care for children. Olivia moved to northern Wisconsin from the Madison area with her husband, daughter and Golden Retriever. She loves everything the area has to offer, from boating to snowshoeing, and loves everything Wisconsin, including cheese curds, the Wisconsin Badgers, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, fishing and snowmobiling!
Lori and her husband have lived in the Northwoods for over 32 years and love the outdoors, especially the winter. In their free time, they enjoy going for rides and exploring new areas with their rescue dog, Little Girl.
Michelle joined our team in August 2020, bringing with her a positive attitude and a willingness to accept new challenges. She enjoys interacting with our patients and her coworkers and appreciates being part of a practice that has a small-town feel as well as the newest technologies.
Michelle and her husband, Ryan, have been married for over 20 years and have four daughters. They love the Northwoods, and when not at work, Michelle is busy with her daughters activities (volleyball, basketball and band). As a family, they enjoy camping, biking, snowmobiling and many other outdoor activities.
Kristin completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. She completed additional training to receive her local anesthetic and nitrous oxide certificate from the University of Louisville in 2010 and her Academy of Laser Dentistry certification in 2019 from the University of Minnesota. Kristin joined our team in November 2018, and she enjoys the welcoming environment, increasing knowledge, technology and teamwork of our practice. She is dedicated to providing quality, preventive-based oral care to each patient she meets.
Sarah graduated from Nicolet Area Technical College in 2016 with her Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene, and she joined our team in March 2020. She enjoys being part of a fun, team-oriented environment. Sarah starts each day with the goal of treat her patients like family and constantly analyzes their oral health to determine the best way to treat their needs.
Carie attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is laser certified, and she enjoys being part of a great team whose goal is to provide excellent dental care and education to our patients. Carie and her husband, Chris, have three daughters and three granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, boating, and spending time with her family.
Mary has been a dental assistant since 1988. She enjoys staying up to date with continuing education courses. In 2011, Mary earned her certification in dental assisting from the Dental Assisting National Board. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her fianc, three children and grandchildren.
Teri joined our team in July 2008. She has completed additional training to become CEREC-certified in 2015 and phlebotomy- and PRP-certified in 2018. In 2018, Teri also joined a Jamaica dental mission to provide care for underserved patients. Teri enjoys the family atmosphere of our practice and the ever-changing and advancing technologies.
Teri and her husband, Cory, have been married for over 20 years. They have two children, one son and one daughter. Outside the office, Teri enjoys reading, spending time at the family cabin and watching her son play hockey.
