Born and raised in Dothan, Alabama, Dr. Leah Gagnon graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology. Dr. Gagnon then went on to the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2005. In 2006 she moved to the Emerald Coast where she worked in a private practice in the area for one year while preparing to open her own practice. Dr. Gagnon (formerly Dr. Thompson) married her husband Phil in October of 2009 and they now have three children; two daughters and a son.
Dr. Gagnon is a member of numerous dental and community groups such as the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Okaloosa Walton Dental Society, and the Niceville-Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Gagnon volunteers extensively in community dental programs such as the Childrens Volunteer Health Network, Give Kids a Smile and the Waterfront Rescue Mission. She enjoys boating, scuba diving, and traveling with her family.
Our hygiene team includes Mae and Helen. Combined they have more than 38 years of experience in the dental field. Their goal is to promote good oral health, while educating patients on preventive care and oral hygiene.

With a digital x-ray, we take a picture of your teeth, and almost immediately see it on a computer monitor. This large, color-enhanced image lets us get a better picture of your oral health, allowing for earlier treatment. This process is also better for the environment as it doesnt use photo chemicals and traditional film, thus eliminating waste.
Computers in every treatment room enable our team to have immediate access to all patient files. The file contains your health history and treatment plan, assuring consistency and quality of care. It also allows us to go paperless which is far better for the environment.

Many of our guests believe it does. Thats why we play music throughout the office with satellite radio. You can also get lost in your favorite TV show during your visit with flat screen monitors in every operatory. We also offer nitrous oxide sedation so you can drift away during treatment and come back feeling like you have had a restful nap. We want you to feel at home and it shows.
