Lakeview Family Dentistry is a small business led by husband and wife team: Dr. Drew Carrell & Marie Carrell. Together, the Carrells take pride in serving the community and being active supporters of the local area. Dr. Carrell is committed to providing patients with exceptional care focused on relationships and comprehensive care to support overall health. He has advanced training in sleep medicine, TMD, occlusion, implants and cosmetic dentistry.
Asked why he enjoys dentistry, Dr. Carrell says: The most rewarding part of being a dentist is building relationships with my patients and providing great results. For that reason, Im proud to be a small business owner and leader of the Lakeview Family Dentistry team, which focuses on treating our patients with personalized dental care. I seek to ensure my patients are educated and involved in their treatment. It is fulfilling to deliver exceptional results for my patients, whether a minor procedure or a desired smile makeover.
Dr. Carrell currently resides in Lino Lakes with his wife, Marie, and their children: Henry, Ben, and Charlotte. In his free time Dr. Carrell enjoys cycling, playing guitar, hiking, and cooking with his wife.
Dr. Djerf completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, graduating with high distinction. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Performance Award, International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Predoctoral Achievement Award. After dental school Dr. Djerf completed her General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Djerf continues to expand her dental training with continuing education to provide her patients with the highest standard of care.
Dr. Djerf has always loved science, art, and working with her hands. Combine these passions with her love for people and you have the perfect fit for dentistry. Dr. Djerf is dedicated to providing quality dentistry with a keen attention to detail. She enjoys getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable and informed with their treatment.

Leveraging over 18 years of people leadership and finance expertise, Marie leads all strategic initiatives providing leadership, direction and management of the practice operations.
