Dr. Mai X. Ly is a graduate of the University Of Southern California, Los Angeles. She furthered her education at Columbia University, New York in the Advanced Education General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. During her residency, Dr. Mai enjoyed exploring the city and the wonderful food, as well as enhancing her training in implantology and cosmetics. She has been practicing general dentistry since graduating from dental school in 2006.
Dr. Mai has expanded training in cosmetic dentistry, treatment planning, implant esthetics, and restoration. She is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentists, and the California Dental Association, as well as her local dental societies.
Dr. Mai enjoys practicing family dentistry and working with patients of all ages. She especially enjoys providing dental care for children. Dr. Mai puts patients at ease with her calm and gentle style of dentistry and keeps her patients very comfortable while she restores their oral health. Dr. Mai is very detail oriented and compassionate. She strives to provide the best quality dental care for all her patients that is most conservative for a long lasting smile.
She enjoys being outdoors and eating good food. When she's not working, Dr. Mai loves taking vacations with her husband and 2 boys. She loves being a mom and loves spending time with her family. Dr. Mai comes from a big family of dentists and is one of six girls.
Dr. Lily Pham is a native of Southern California, born and raised in south Orange County. She pursued her undergraduate career at the University of California, Irvine, obtaining a B.S. in Biological Sciences, all the while being an active member in the Pre-dental Society at UCI. Dr. Pham began pursuing her dental education after she was accepted to the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 2016.
Since earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA, Dr. Pham has been practicing general dentistry in south Orange County, continuing her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest in the field of dentistry through continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Pham enjoys providing dental care for the entire family with an emphasis on patient comfort. She understands the patients need for honesty and transparency, so she takes her time to thoroughly explain treatment and answer any questions before starting any procedure in order for patients to feel more at ease moving forward.
In her spare time, Dr. Pham enjoys cross-stitching, true crime podcasts, and baking sweets for the family. She is an avid dog lover and will go out of her way to pet any dog when she is out and about.
Dr. An grew up in Orange County and obtained her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. She then proceeded to earn her Masters of Arts degree in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University in Arizona before attending the College of Dental Medicine at the same school. During her dental education, she had the opportunity to serve in mission trips in Tonga and Samoa.
Dr. An holds memberships with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, where she previously held a board position as director. Dr. An frequently attends continuing education courses to ensure that her patients receive the best possible care.
Dr. An enjoys performing procedures to improve patients overall dental health and commits to providing quality care. Her goals include providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients and ensuring that they are as comfortable as they can be.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. An can typically be found at Disneyland, her favorite place in the world. She also enjoys spending her time reading, hiking, doing yoga, and playing board games.
Connie was born and raised in Texas and received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Health. After graduating she worked for a non-profit dental organization in San Antonio, Texas and as a Volunteer Coordinator she recruited Dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Front Office Assistants to volunteer and provide free dental services to the low- income, homeless, and veterans in her community. It wasnt until then, that she had a passion in the field of dentistry.
In 2018, Connie moved to California and joined Dr. Mais team at Ladera Dentistry as a Patient Coordinator. She is truly committed in helping our patients with her knowledge in dental insurance, treatment planning, and finances. She loves being able to interact with patients and always bringing a positive and honest mindset. While being dedicated to providing patients with an exceptional experience at Ladera Dentistry, Connie is also continuing her education to further her career in the field of dentistry. Shes an adventurous foodie and enjoys hiking. When she can, she loves to travel and is always up to trying new things.
Jimmy is our Office GURU. From training the team and handling insurance claims to marketing and computer management he'll do it all! He has been with Ladera Dentistry for over 8 years and enjoys learning and helping the team continue to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Erica was born in Orange County and raised in Lake Forest California. She became a Hygienist after completing the Hygiene Program at Cerritos College. She has been in dental field for over 13 years and working at Ladera Dentistry for 7 years. Erica loves getting to know her patients on a personal level. She loves being a wife and a mother to a baby girl and always enjoys spending time with her family, eating good food and traveling.
Julio is proud and happy to be working as our Lead Assistant here at Ladera Dentistry. He graduated as a dental assistant at Dental Pros and has been growing in the field of dentistry ever since. Julio is highly dedicated to his patients; with his soft demeanor and genuine, caring work ethics, he brings the most pleasurable experience possible to his patients. Julio is a knowledgeable expert whose priority is the health and well being our patients.
Julio was born and raised in Guatemala. He moved to California in 2002 for high school and decided to begin his adult education in California, as well. He enjoys peace and harmonious moments. Although his biggest passion is taking care of patients, he also enjoys going to the beach, taking hikes in the mountains, and spending time with his wife and baby boy.
