Dr. Krutzfeldt grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and received her Bachelor of Science degree. Her passion for dentistry began when she worked as a dental assistant for her father. She returned to school and graduated from the University of Iowa with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In 2009, Dr. Krutzfeldts husband, Paul, opened Great River Brewery in downtown Davenport, and Dr. Krutzfeldt joined Dr. DSouza in private practice.
Dr. Krutzfeldt is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, the Academy of General Dentists and the International College of Dentists. She volunteers with the I-Smile and Silver Smile programs and the Give Kids a Smile Bethany Bus program. She is a YMCA board member at the Davenport YMCA.
