Dr. Kelvin B. Smith received his Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed his General Practice Residency at Provident Hospital.
Dr. Smith is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association and Catonsville Dental Study Club. In Dr. Smiths spare time, he enjoys sporting activities, such as watching football and basketball.
Dr. Sheida Nakhaei received her bachelors from Towson University. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. After dental school, she completed her General Practice Residency at Saint Elizabeth Hospital.
Dr. Nakhaei is a member of American Dental Association and Maryland State Dental Association. In Dr. Nakhaeis spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending the movies, and participating in lots of activities with her daughter.
My name is Taciane, but my family, friends, and patients call me Taci. I was born and raised in Brazil. I moved to the USA in my early 20s to pursue a better education. I always wanted to work in the health care field because I have a passion for science and helping others.
I graduated from University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. I am passionate about my job and patients. Helping my patients improve their oral health and overall wellbeing is my priority. My job has allowed me to meet many great people. I love when I can help someone get their confidence and smile back.

My passion for Dental Hygiene comes with a paved background for cleanliness. As a native Baltimorean, we scrub white marble steps with Ajax every Saturday Morning.
I was licensed by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners after receiving my associates of art degree and graduating upon Whos Who for Junior Colleges. Immediately following, I started my Dental Hygiene career working for practices both large and small. Ive been practicing hygiene for over 26 years.
Currently I am with an amazing dental team at Kelvin B. Smith DDS Family Dentistry. Here as a team, we provide up-to-date, optimal dental care and receive great encouragement in continuing education by attending ADA meetings. Over the past fifteen years, I have been privileged to travel to San Francisco, Philadelphia, San Antonio, Hawaii, New Orleans, District of Columbia, and Denver.
I always enjoy a good meal with family and friends, especially Sundays after church where I serve as a born again Christian with my mom and sister. During the holidays, we enjoy cooking and Breaking Bread together. My house is also always open for a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Aint no ship like a fellowship!

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
